posted a message on A Clue for Diablo 3's Release? - Judge for yourself
Holy shit! That ferris wheel could be the sign that Diablo 3 is going to be released!

And look what else I found off Blizzard's job postings!

"Blizzard, the developer of Diablo and Diablo II, is looking for a 3D Background Artist skilled at creating models and texture maps for both architectural structures and natural environments. 3D Artists assist in the design and creation of objects and characters that populate the environment, using programs such as Maya, and participate in game design with the rest of the team. The ideal candidate has outstanding skill in both modeling and texturing of background objects and environments."

Join the team of Diablo? This must mean they are working on Diablo 3 right? Damn I can't wait!

Dang you Obalobex. This thread is about so many different things I just don't know what to do with it.

I encourage some of you to start some new threads about some of the more specific topics discussed here so we can get some good conversation going and keep each topic where it belongs. Soon I'll be wrapping this thread up though just cause it's all over the place.

yea... it kinda got out of control. The OP was just something I wrote in another, semi-relate thread and they told me to make a new one. It really was just meant for general opinion and not a war over specifics. Also I don't really think this is solving anything (at least among those debating) as people have their minds made up already it seems.

I know that there isn't solid proof for most of this and a lot of it is held up on speculation. But that being said people should use their intuition and common sense, while holding an open mind and not defending what they have grown up to know.

I hope to those people who just browse through and don't post take everything in here with a grain of salt and perhaps looking up things that you aren't sure about. Well, I'm getting a bit overwhelmed and this thread has frayed quite a bit, so I guess maybe closing it might be a good idea.

    Thanks for everyone's input (mostly).

Can someone direct me to where somebody posted where all the Blizzard North employees went?

I remember it being posted a little while ago, and I was searching with no luck.

Besides, I feel it should be given it's own thread.

    Thanks

Of the 30 or so out of the 40 who left blizzard, most of them went on to form Flagship Studios. A company out of Seattle that created Hellgate: London (don't get it, it's crap) and Mythos (actually fun, in beta). Mythos is kinda like Diablo but more bright and cartoony, with pretty good gameplay and graphics.

So good luck to you Obalobex, I hope you have better luck than I.

Wow thanks, a bit of encouragement in a sea of hate :)

Violette, I don't think we need to quote each other any more since we are basically a 2 person debate. Well now that you are being more reasonable and less frustrating I'd be more than willing to discuss my views with you.

You are not quite accurate when accusing me of buying all this crap that I'm being dealt. We are dealt crap all the time from news sources, governmental representatives and so on. When I formulated my opinion about this, I took in all the information and looked at the two cases.

    Case 1.
While the bankers have the American government by the balls, they don't have their finger on anything and wish the American people the best. America goes into wars because they truly feel bad for one side. All the attacks on America right before wars are truly from the source claimed by the government and definitely not wished upon by those in power. After these attacks it is America's duty to protect us and create laws such as the Patriot Act that gives America the ability to combat all the many terrorists living in America by giving them authority to do whatever they want with suspects. The war in Iraq was solely for the purpose of bringing a great criminal to justice and has nothing to do with seizing oil-rich land. Also Sadam had WMDs.

    Case 2.
The bankers have America by the balls and they see ample opportunity to create more wealth for themselves and their families as well as creating a way to keep all those beneath them silent through fear. Staging terrible catastrophe's such as Pearl Harbour and 9/11 and lying about some boats being sunk by the Vietnamese allows the government to go to war because the people want retribution. The war creates mass amounts of debt and therefor billions of dollars of interest to the bankers. Meanwhile the bankers and powerful people keep a steady finger on the media and make sure the American people are pumped full of fear and entertainment. By doing this, American's will not even care when the government slowly whittles away at their rights and freedoms.

There is also a lot of evidence and expert analysis of the "attacks on America" that had taken place. The Vietnam attack was a complete fabrication. The Pearl Harbor attack happened because America kept disrupting trade routes to Japan including all oil. Then when president Roosevelt was warned by Australian radar that a mass Japanese assault was heading towards Pearl Harbor he did nothing. And the collapse of the 9/11 towers has many problems:
First of all the jet fuel that burned and caused the towers to collapse was not hot enough to melt or cut the steel well enough, the towers collapsed at free-fall speed which is not possible with the pancake theory of one floor falling on top of the other, there were pools of molten metal ignored by the government at the bottom of the World Trade Centers that were 500 degrees hotter than engine fuel burns, there were secondary explosions in the basement before the planes hit, the steel columns in the center of the building should not have collapsed and they appeared to have been cut in several places...

It is my opinion that we are living in case 2 because of the hundreds of coincidences and uncovered lies of the government.

Income tax is just a little fraud to make some extra dough.

There are lots of theories and conspiracies about a world bank, and about how all these powerful people are moving countries around like chess peices. And since these same people seem to agree on that one single thing, they all reinforce it. That is how a network is built. One patch here, one there, and soon you got a quilt of something that seems pretty legit. However its all based on assumptions, and there are way too many holes in their arguments to back up their statements completely. People aren't beneath you, you aren't smarter than everyone else. You aren't enlightened, you aren't better than anyone. Stop acting like you know something we don't, because in the end those bastards that just victimize college students for a living don't know it.

First of all I don't feel like I am necessarily smarter or more enlightened than anyone just that my decisions and views come from a vast variety of information, observation, and intuition, instead of just accepting what is fed to all of us.

There obviously are going to be holes in these theories, and by definition it cannot be proven or backed up completely. Thats what makes it a theory. That being said, evolution is almost entirely accepted among all scientist and yet it is still a theory. Here's a quote by James Warburg, one of the highest and influential bankers in the mid 1900's:
"We shall have world government whether or not we like it. The only question is whether world government will be achieved by conquest or consent."

Just because the theory isn't completely proven, like evolution, does not mean that at least a large portion of it is not true.

Typical liberal temper tantrum. When asked for proof/evidence (which of course you can't find/don't have) you stamp your feet, take your ball and go home LOL. Once again your facts are wrong and let's take a look at where you went wrong.

    1. I didn't call you a dork, I called the person who posted the video you linked to a dork.

    2. I didn't say the videos were forged only that they have nothing to back them up.

    3. I didn't say they were posted minutes after posting my argument.

    4. On what grounds do you have to say I'm epically ignorant, because I'm looking for something more than a youtube video to help you back up your claims? Gee, who is the ignorant one here?

    5. I'm dismissive of claims that I've heard a million times before from others of your ilk that (like you) can't back anything up (which BTW I REMIND YOU) was one of YOUR rules to begin with.

    6. Backlash on your credibility? You have to have established credibility first, before there can be a backlash against it LOL.

You make claims, you have no "credible" proof, so you cry and run away. Why am I supposed to find credibility in you again???

Violet, this is a thread to discuss our opinions about the government. It is my opinion and the opinion of many others who took the time to research and find answers, that the United States government is corrupt and there are many lies that the public eats up. I don't owe you any proof. I am not a professional at this and so I don't have the hard resources that you obviously need. If I had complete proof for everything I believe to be true about the government of the USA, then the population would be up in arms.

I suppose the videos I posted (as well as the THOUSANDS of others if you do a simple google search) and articles could all have been elaborate forgeries made explicitly to support each other... But honestly what do you find to be more realistic?

If this sounds ridiculous then try putting yourself in the banker's position. These bankers own the federal reserve and have many ties to the government (G W Bush's Grandfather was one of the powerful bankers). So here you are:
    1. you want to get as much money as possible.
    2. war creates enormous amounts of revenue.
    3. war allows the creation of laws that take away civil liberties and allow more control over the population.
    4. the population does not want war unless they are attacked.
    5. you want to eventually achieve world government and new world order
    6. in order to create world government, people must be denied fundamental freedoms
    7. people believe income tax to be real and the money goes right to your pockets

    what would YOU do?

I'm sorry, Google videos, youtube videos etc. aren't credible. I have video editting software also and I'm sure that given a few days I could make my own video with numbers I've made up and make it look credible. Stop looking for stupid videos and find something substantial. Also where is the case where someone beat the IRS?

Heh look at the other videos that guy posted and more importantly look at the kid himself. Do you really expect me to take his word as a credible source of anything, he's a friggin' dork LOL. Listen to him spout all sorts of figures and claims with no references or evidence to back anything up, yeehaw, I can do that too, I have a camcorder ;)

OMG you are driving me crazy. Yea, I'm making all this shit up and I'm a friggin' dork that forges videos within minutes of you asking for them. Your ignorance is epic and it is people like you that makes me hate being American. The fact that you are instantly dismissive of everything and have so much blind faith that you will refuse to even LOOK at anything that may go against you. Grow up and open your damn mind kid. I'm done here, if intelligent people want to discuss openly then go ahead. I'm finished with this backlash and attack on my credibility and person. If you want to live blissfully in a world with the wool pulled over your eyes forever then go ahead, I don't know you and I don't give a shit.

Um, still haven't seen any financial info on tax spending, nor have you provided any cases of someone beating the IRS on not paying taxes

Damn you vultures, sucking me dry. I sent you a link that showed experts exposing the invalidity of income tax. I don't have a tax breakdown sheet in front of me and I don't know where I could find a hard copy showing the EXACT breakdown of American taxpayers money. However many experts know this a lot better than I do (and probably you do). So here is ANOTHER link which should answer some questions.

It's not hard to find information about any of this stuff, you don't have to ask me to supply you with any of this information. Just look it up yourself.

what does that have to do with the united states?

Well the fact that Tony Blaire and George Bush have been hand-in-hand on this thing from the start. And the fact that creating false violence fuels the civil wars and violence in the East and creates a state of never ending violence for the media to propagate.

The media keeps no one at bay. They sway their audience towards their leftist-leaning agendas.

I refuse to believe that our governments would do such a thing. Why?

    1) It's rediculous
    2) You don't know where it happened.
    3) Why would Officers do it? You never assign officers to do such filth.
    4) Zeitgeist is as credible a resource as my ass is. Are you also going to say that 9-11 was orchestrated by the American government? If Zeitgeist is your only backup in your argument, your argument is severly flawed and underpowered to be even brought up in this discussion.

"Yea! These guys, they went to this one place, I don't know where, and they did bad things and their government bailed them out. Oh and my only source is the National Enquirer."

    Thats what you sound like.

OK, it was September 2005 in Basra by a couple of SAS agents. Article provided below talks about many other suspicious "acts of terrorism" by American/British forces.

Are you implying that the media supports the Bush Administration and helped them lie to the american public? You're analysing this too much, and forgetting the obvious facts of what you are trying to say.

The media DOES NOT support the war, nor did it ever. The only reason they cover it is because people wanted to know about it. Ever notice how when the death rates go down, they don't mention any iraq news? However when it goes up, they're all over it?

And the violence streams are not subtle connections, but they are subtle. For some reason, people are much more tempted to keep watching if they see violence on the screen. The streams are there to entice people to keep watching.

Exactly, even though the media, say CNN, does not outright say "this war is good," the images of violence and terrorists makes the media the real Lord of Terror. Fear of the violence and seemingly evil that takes place in Iraq and Afghanistan keeps the population at bay.

Oh, and some of this terrorism is manufactured too. British military officers working with the American government were arrested somewhere in the Middle East (forgot where) for driving around in a Jeep shooting at civilians while dressed up as terrorists. The British government promptly came into the city and broke them out of prison and returned home. Only source I have from that was from Zeitgeist.

It's 100% of Income tax goes to pay interest to the bankers, not all tax. I am not over exaggerating, please read clearly.

Damn Equinox, why did you make me start this thread...

@Carloseus the media very often linked Iraq to the "War on Terror" and Bush has been quoted as referencing "what they did to us in 9/11" and using the terrorism word to talk about Iraq. No one has outright said that Iraq was a part of 9/11 to my knowledge, but the subtle connections and images of violence streaming across CNN are more than enough to keep American's satisfied.

@Violetskye I am not an expert at this but maybe I'll try to find one (thinking where I could look). This is the kind of news you will NOT hear about because it would be very, very bad for America if that was made well known.

    EDIT: Violetskye, watch this video:
    http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=2709331733157192804&q=income+tax&total=2913&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=5&hl=en-CA

It's CNBC interviewing IRS and tax experts so it's reliable. Income tax is a fraud.

    Sorry, wrong again.

    http://docs.law.gwu.edu/facweb/jsiegel/Personal/taxes/JustNoLaw.htm

And BTW I was referring to your "point" that 100% of taxes go to Bankers LOL. What pays for schools, roads, social security, welfare, etc. ????

That's the internal revenue code... Basically the handbook for the IRS. This is not the law, the law to pass income tax was never voted in and there have been many court cases where the defendant took the case to the supreme court and won. The judges ruled in each case that they need not pay the tax as there was no law telling them to do so. Not to mention the all the IRS experts interviewed that say they have not filed a tax return or payed income tax in years.

Also the American constitution states that there are only 2 types of taxes: Direct and proportioned, Or indirect and not proportioned. Direct means that you get taxed for a specific thing such as paying for gas, this tax is proportioned directly to road and city maintenance. The second type indirect is something like GST or income tax where everyone has to pay. This tax has to be spread evenly among Americans through basic governmental duties. Income tax however IS proportioned, given 100% solely to pay the banks whom the government is indebted to by trillions of dollars.

i like how theres videos proving that video wrong..shit happens.

Source? the only critique of that movie I found was that certain specifics in the religious section were a bit off. The fact that America is in essence owned by the major banking corporations and has complete control over the currency (the Federal Reserve is NOT Federal, it is private and separate from the state) is not a theory, it is a well-known fact.

Income tax being a fraud is also not a theory. No law in America exists that requires people to pay it. Unfortunately that doesn't stop the IRS from illegally invading your property and repossessing all your stuff if you refuse.
