posted a message on T6 Speed farm build

Yeah I hear you Ace, I've had to toss a few 58 gr keys for forgetting to swap skills on my barb which hurts like a bitch. I only have time to farm trials one or two times a week at this point. The issue of time goes to moot if you're ok with times to rg and you generally have more fun with the FoTH setups, you have to actually enjoy what you're farming with otherwise..urge to log... XD.

If you want to add some punch, I'd suggest harrignton waistguard for chests, if I remember right using the "fervor" passive you have the available cdr for perm AC without needing a Vig belt. Between that and F/R or SOJ/Convention you should find that you move along quite well. Happy zapping XD.

posted a message on T6 Speed farm build

Usually you have to make swaps in gear/talents for good speed farm potential. The bash build I listed as well as the mat build that was just written would pull an RG in a minute for a good rift or so, 4 for a bad rift. Multi level/empty. I've had T6 RG up in 40s, which isn't awful for a crusader considering I'm used to 30s-70s on my dh/barb. Fastest pull was in a graveyard, 40s with a conduit pylon, and every last mob was dust eater. I'll never see that again, which is why I say 70s is more realistic and that's in an optimal rift. Sub optimal max time is 4-5 minutes, depending on number of levels and mobs.

I've used a condemn and FoTH build for clears and I've tried several different rolands setups, it is really hard to match the double mobility of steed charge and bash. Not wanting to swap gears is holding you back bro, my dh/barb with gr setup lose around 1:30 on a t6 time with decent density. Swap to a speed farm build and RG's are up in a minute or less.

If you don't want to swap around etc. that's a personal preference, if you like the foth skill that again is a personal preference, however you're slowing yourself down. That being said I can appreciate the fact you enjoy FoTH setups, I spent the first 5 months I played Cruz ripping up T6 with that skill and firestarter/darklight before the nerf that is. Fissure is fun to play with as well, you can get the whole screen to be an electric chair for mobs.

posted a message on Why does everyone on leaderboard have Ancient BK?

I've gotten one ancient from Kadala the other came from a T6 pub. After two seasons of not gambling weps for it not being "worth it" and this season where I actually did gamble weps on my Barb/DH/Sader I'd say go for the gamble and let your ancient gear drop in group. After being on the ptr with no ancient wep but amazing ancient gear and being live with little ancient gear at the start of the season but having ancient weps the weps are way better than the gear.

I used a pair of strongarms.. Just in-case i got a speed pylon and/or Ess of Johan + templar knockback + ancient charge

I understand most people would go for Lacunis, but i don't think that extra IAS is such a big deal.. I rather prefer to snapshot my APS myself.. Basically every time you rend, you snapshot. (6% IAS is only 2 extra monsters bleeding)

It don't matter that much, just make sure bracers you are using have good rolls.. :)

I have a question (noob question, but I'm a noob with the barb class) do ww break points have a cap? What I mean is there a point where you no longer get benefit from aps in relation to break points, or does it continue to boost ww/nato ticks regardless? Haven't found a solid answer on that yet, but I probably need to go and re read Page/Nubtaro et al again.

With no fury issues doing the single target you mention in the op the fight is roughly 7min 42 seconds for that rg in particular. Get the fury figured out and its gg, best of luck mon.

posted a message on Demon Hunter - Strafe Super Speed Build (Video)

The pools thing is easy, get a few stacked up and go into a group rift that's "safe" for your gear level (40-44 for me) and make sure to have a zdps. If you pay attention you don't die and get amazing exp. I've done it with lock doc and pull monk, playing on my Barb and DH and Dps Crusader. Would not recommend this unless you run with some people semi regular, but it can be done easily with proper set up. The bonus you get from chaining 2-3 minute clears on 41-44 is amazing.

If you want to solo your exp pools, I'd recommend Crusader/Barb/Monk (not in any order) and again, you want low enough gr that you will have little chance of dying but good exp gain. I don't play monk but the cc immunity/toughness from barb/sader at lower GR's gives quite a bit of leeway, and unity is the icing on the cake. Personally I'm not anywhere near good enough on my dh to try to solo exp in that way, but I can do it on barb/sader safely until 48 solo.

posted a message on Don't give up on Cold RoV yet (Solo Tier 57 - 13:20)

The only issue I have with cold is the weakness to adds who can cast/use a ranged attack from 1 1/2 screen away, which is only slightly less annoying than the stampede rune missing for getting hung up on some weird map path. Other than that the nat's builds are the most engaging setup since hell trapper. Always good to see a post/video Wudijo, looking forward to more.

Nailed a 51 down last week, horrid rift lots of chargers/jailer. I'm no dh expert but I've tried this and ue and I like this better solo. The burst from rov is crazy and the knock back is really handy for survival, where ue just seems to feel flat. I still need a few more gear adjustments but this is a ton of fun, and hard to play, which makes it more fun.

posted a message on PSA: Just to clear some confusion

Thanks for the time you took to produce quality content MC, one thing the gaming community in general needs is more people who aren't afraid of the truth, which may not be pleasing, politically correct or popular but the truth all the same. Blizzard and fanboys hate the truth, because the truth holds someone/something responsible for actions taken. Not a strong suit of the company in the slightest.

Your content provided that truth to a large extent, it is too bad that Blizzard feels the need to do as they do continually, which is shut out their customers and pander to idiots. After watching the stream and reading some of the responses in this thread to what you've shown/written this couldn't be more apparent.

Best of luck in the future mang.

P.S. Can't wait to see that fat cunt Wyatt shuck and jive at the end of the next ptr, that shit is more entertaining than actually playing the game.

posted a message on Roland's Survivability in High GRs help

Nailed a 50 into the dirt with Gizzard/trapped/taeguk. unity/convention no generator, swapped out Punish for Provoke: HIt Me, my live gear is nothing compared to my ptr gear for toughness atm so using F/R is out for now.

Ancient maximus seems to give much better trash clear with this particular setup, but I had a rift with enough density that I only ended up dancing with 2 elite champ packs before the rg, on the first level. No pylons the entire time. The burst you get when you pop AC when convention rolls to fire is very strong.

Btag is jay#1401, or just 'jay' if your looking in the leaderboards. I'm not trying to be arrogant or a braggart with that last line, but I expect people to assume something is bullshit until they investigate themselves. Happy smashing.

posted a message on Roland's set viable at last?

Fire bash and subsequent explosions crit in the Billions, not millions. Shield cross lost to crumble a long time ago in terms of straight up clear speed, on the condition you can position for it.

Using Shield cross (four directions bash) is counter productive with the bracers providing the damage bonus to three or less enemies hit.

posted a message on Roland's Legacy Set and atk speed

Gizzard, Trapped, EA, check MC's build guide. If you want to farm the 40's and are comfortable with the set drop gizzard for Taeguk for the damage boost. Goguk and shield bash don't mix well, the use of a generator aids the stacking but holding down punish for stacking of anything outside focus/restraint isn't optimal as it cuts into the cdr from wrath spending that the set provides. Best of luck in the new season OP.

Maybe in T6 when you don't have to move for shit : )

Depends on if you have sweep attack to keep the buff up since (strangely enough) being able to deal your damage in half the time results in double DPS. Whether you do that damage in 1 attack every few seconds or by standing like a statue. Hell even if you have to move all the time you're going to be doing double DPS for the majority of the fight if you use sweep (or just shield bash from target to target).

Honestly saying that it's only useful in T6 is like saying Iron Skin is only useful in T6. Sure having damage reduction (or attack speed) gets "less" useful as enemies get closer to one shotting (forcing movement) but the fact that you have it is always going to benefit you. Especially in those "perfect" situations where hey look you don't have to move.

Hell in any situation in which you perform more than one attack (most no matter the rift level) you're going to AT LEAST benefit from shorter animations increasing mobility and therefore survival rate.

Fun fact: More AS means more juking.

Edit: Also groups have CC. CC means you don't have to move as much. Means benefit of As is higher. So yah. T6 is not the only place that the As is relevant. Not even close.

It was so good that the 6 piece 100% IAS was scrapped pre nerf for 40% fire damage/30% RCR on a chest that doesn't allow anywhere near the defensive stat options in the highest gr run the set has seen to date. Also, Rolands PTR still does less dmg than an M6 dh live so good luck with group options if people are serous about progression.

Dude you love to make claims having limited/no experience with the set at higher levels to speak of. Which is fine, its your game and your entitled to your opinions. I don't even care about the set enough to argue any further, certainly not with someone who thinks that sweep/bash is the best option when pure bash is/was crushing sweep/bash for damage and grift progression solo.

Should the set see both sweep and bash on the bar with the option to run either skill stand alone for farming/progression? Yes. Is that the case? Fuck no.
