I guess it's just a matter of opinion, then. I personally would assume it's just an extension of it's tailbone. I mean, anatomically, if the human tailbone kept growing at the angle it is, it would get that effect to some extent. But of course you'll all counter that by saying that we're dealing with a demon and not a human. Just my thoughts.
Honestly, it doesn't really matter to me. See a demon naked or not...well, if you were to see anything from Diablo in real life, naked or not, it would scare the shit out of you. Period. Anyone who disagrees with this is a moron and just wants to defy me because they want to be difficult. I mean, if you woke up inthe middle of the night and had a pack of Carvers with axes and torches in their hands, and a Shaman casting fire balls at you, your first response wouldn't be "OMG, they aren't naked! Noobs.." No, you be scared, and then they'd slice you up.
I can see why you would say seeing all their muscle would be a sign of power, but they don't need to be naked to do that. They can wear a loin cloth.
And Demons might just reproduce in some kind of twisted spiritual sense, like they somehow have supernatural sex, and then that Demon is sent to infest a living creature, until it matures and the physical features are twisted and evil looking. Just a guess.
I don't like Halo just because I hate FPS's in a general sense, and because I like to go against the flow. Yes, I have played 2 and 3, both on the net quite extensively with my friend, but only for his sake, lol.
I'd take a Japanese RPG or a standard DND RPG to a FPS of any kind any day.

And I think that the picture you guys keep showing doesn't have a penis. If you look at the concept art, that is actually just some sort of spine/tail projection. It doesn't look like a penis at all to me.

0Also, in Demonsbane Assur is Diablos favoured Baron - though I honestly don't know what that means. Is it like a General? I know its something obvious but I just don't know it.
I never read the books so I really should have no say in this, but maybe by Baron it's meant that Assur keeps dominion over some part of Hell so Diablo doesn't have to worry about it, and perhaps he does a darn good job of it, which would make him a good Baron (Barons are like Counts, right?)

I don't know- one of the main reasons I like Diablo is because it doesn't have all those "Half-Elves, Moon-Elves, Super-Blue-Dwarves"- you get what I mean? The characters were all human, albeit with different powers and backgrounds. I think introducing Angels and Demons as playable characters, and especially making "Half-Angels" and stuff like that, would be to border on some kind of WoW/Diablo character selection, which I do NOT want to see. I want to see the specifically and uniquely Diablo characters. Also, I'd want the art to stay the same, not all cartoony like WoW.
And this is kind of on a secondary note, but if you could be an Angel or Demon, it would detract from the brilliance of characters like Tyrael, I think, story-line wise, and would introduce a lot of storyline plot holes, like how you can't do all the special things that the supernatural beings can.

If you think about it, on the other hand, the concept of him being crab-like is kinda an oxymoron in relation to his story-purpose. Crabs have shells they hide in, all defensive and what-not, while Baal is supposed to be the Lord of Destruction, which would seem like an offensive thing to me. Hm...
Typically doesn't it take developers 2 or 3 years to release a game after they make an official announcement? I really doubt you'd get to play it within a year.
It's probably because what ever it is they're sure it will make a ton of cash, with pay-to-play and mindless addiction included.
JK, I'm sure it is amazing, they don't make crappy games. I just don't like World of Warcrap because it completely over shadows the greatness of better games....cough.... Just because it gets more attention patch-wise/ hack reduction-wise, and has somewhat better graphics.
