This patch is complete garbage for wizards, they changed hydra stats slightly and nerfed firebird DoT range, which makes it even harder to stay alive and kite, making the whole point of firebird mute.
The range is 100 yards I believe. If you need to be that far away. Your doing something wrong. I disagree. The wizard is doing better now. Since Hydra is fixed and not bugged anymore. I'm ticking over 1bil in Grifts, throwing down consistent DPS and buffing the group with EE, conflagration, ect.

Defense of wise, I was able to clear a 39 solo today pretty easily. Should be able to get up to at lease 42ish+ with some RNG help. My game play tho I don't kite, I move around. But Don't run away 50 yards. Using blizzard, hydra, black hole or meteor and consistently using Electrocute.

    DH nerfed to unusable:(
Nope, DH is actually stronger than before by a bit. It just requires the player to be a little bit more proactive now, which is why lazy players who got too used to the sentries doing all of the dirty work will certainly agree with you.

Conduit pylon - that thing is what really got nerfed into uselessness. They need to buff its damage by 5x at least to make it worth something even on T6.
100% agree here. Conduit needs buffed. It's damage is way to low. Right now, it's not fun anymore when you get one. Nothing dies. Not saying go back to what it was. But defiantly increase the damage by 2x At the minimum.

Nothing really has changed. Rift density is fixed finally, ancient items are boring, also not very rare at all. I don't play a monk, but I do know they got some major fixes. For me, I got depressed and bored in about an hour after playing. It's the same exact scenery, game play(rifts and Grfits) and loot all over again.

crafting a few hundred devastators. Not sure T&T are all that with hydra, seems mammoth attacks pretty quick if you got AS from gloves paragon etc. Don't think the lava streaks stacks unless they are from multiple firewizs. Might be wrong. I run T&T atm with blazing, but on PTR, it just didn't seem that good.
Yeah blizzard made a mistake here. Mammoth Hydra does way more damage than blazing. The choice to choose from isn't even close anymore. Your correct about TnT, only time you would use it, is if you have a Furnace. Witch means you lose the second Hydra from not using a SS/OH and is less damage anyways. TnT is useless for FB wiz for High output damage and Grfits. But T6 it will be fun, no doubt!!

On the patch note on the battle.net client is describing enchanting of amulets and rings to add sockets .... Can it be true? 0.0
They are just saying getting a socket while rolling with the Mystic will be easier than before. At lease that's what I get from it.

    Hi!

I wonder what you are looking forward most in the new patch? What's the first thing you will do?

For me it's changing my wizard FB spec to Hydra build with TnT and see them lay waste with fire.

Sadly IAS still doesn't affect damage at all. Magefist or Firebird gloves to open a few other gear slots will still be best for damage wise. But for T6 let the fire of thos hydra's cover the whole ground!!

20mil per hit? Mine do much more than that. Even more when you have voodoo up, Mask of Jeram by far, better for pet build.

posted a message on What's there to come back for this patch?
This Patch has really not changed much in the game at all. After these Months of them working on it. We are 90% getting the same exact thing we already have. Ancient Items are pathetic. They are the same exact thing. Boring and lazy. Who ever says other wise, must be blinded. They added no other kind of game play. So we are stuck with bounties(that are pretty much only good for Fragments these days, since they didn't add any items to the pool) regular rifts and GR's that they fixed density, which needed to be fixed months ago. Ancient Items will allow you to go a bit higher now. Oh Boy!

They added Special Goblins, great! The fact it took them to add 1 thing like this since RoS is mind blowing. Where are random boss fights, Special events, Champion monsters that are just a waste in the game, provide nothing at all. They need improved greatly. Weekly and monthly events. Seasons are just boring. I think for a lot of people, they provide nothing what so ever that will want 80% of the player base to consistently play it. I see it everywhere, they will get to level 70 for the transmog than back to Non Season. There is absolutely no reward. Same thing for leader boards. A lot of people, just don't care about them and again provide no reward.

The monk changes are the biggest thing in Patch 2.1.2, kinda sad right? They didn't add any new kind of charterer progression. Too me the most frustrating thing is the Ancient Items tho. They could have made them "powerful" in many ways and have uniqueness, randomness. Would have brought back the " I'm going to grind for hours to find the right one" But Instead the forums are blowing up at Blizzard for how awful they are.

In the end, They are trying to keep us around. We won't see any true Major Improvements to D3:RoS until the next expansion. Going to be a long year people.

at level 70, all legendary and set items have level 70 versions.

And as DPS Pet WD you want a Starmetal Kukri. Witch is one of the rarest items in the game or another popular weapon is Rhen'ho Flayer.

If you had to pick between Gisworld and Doomsbringer. Doomsbringer would be much better since it provides Physical Elemental % dmg

I'm not trying to be a dick here or anything. Really not. But I don't know what your game play style is, but getting gear from crafting and kadala is very easy. T6 is defiantly doable very quickly. Once you have a full set t6 becomes even more of a breeze. How many hours do you have?

If you guys want to send me your Bnet profiles, I would have no problem giving you guys some pointers and help improve your gear and builds.

And that 2k+ hours is from since D3 was released that is going on 3 years now. Which if you think 2k is a lot haha I am way behind of a lot of other players that are 1000's of hours in front of me.

It's still the same old same old. Yes RoS was a big improvement. But after about a month of playing. You will be geared out, T6 will become a joke. Than you will realize well Grifts are fun..until you max out the 5 most used gems, then realize the loot is terrible in them, you get no reward, can't progress any higher because everything one shots you. Leader boards offer no reward also, So unless your a huge Leader board fan and you want to be in the top 100 for no reason at all? Grifts become useless.

Can't assume that everyone will play anywhere remotely as hardcore as you.

I have been playing whenever the mood takes me, since release. Pre-ordered both D3 and RoS. I'm not even remotely geared out. T6 a joke? My best character can handle T3. Max out the 5 most used gems? I haven't maxed out a single one - my best gem is rank 18. The highest GRift I've cleared is GR17.

It's nice that you've played over 2k hours. But do bear in mind that many players would take 5 years+ to accumulate that sort of /played time.
If you can't clear t6 within a week of gearing right now, you are doing something very wrong. You can craft gear and troll T6???

Okay first off, not trying to be an ass..please use paragraphs lol

Second, Don't waste your time with any ideas. The past week or so the forums on here and on the official site have been going off, way above the charts than normal. This latest patch is going to push away a lot of players. Because of the pure laziness they have shown us over and over again. Not saying your idea is bad or anything. These kinda of ideas have been brought up countless times and is always ignored or the famous words from Blizzard " I will move this on to the developers"

I have over 2k hours and yes I have got my money's worth. I will admit I play it just because " the game is fun" I truly do love the game, I love the hack and slash game play. But the core game and end game is not there. This latest patch they will be releasing is just another joke. Sadly to say, I have stuck it out for a while, but my time is coming near to stop playing until a next expansion or a huge game developing change. RoS was a improvement, but it still did not provide any serious long term game play. And when you think it does they just decide to release "Ancient Items" That are the same exact thing we have now! With just more main stat, vitality and in the end all old gear becomes obsolete, very very quickly.

Well looks like some information is popping up that patch 2.1.2 has a higher chance of being released tomorrow! Nevertheless, if it is not tomorrow, it is almost 100 % guaranteed to be next Tuesday!
