Sacrifice is the primary dmg spell here. Theoretically i would almost never have to resummon dogs due to next of kin, devotion, and boogie man. Haunt is secondary dmg spell also to give a second dmg type.
Gruesome feast and final gift synergize to give me health and mana.
This is meant to be solo inferno build. Any suggestions???
I would use the Grave Injustice passive for a build like this, so if you have very bad luck with the spawn chances you can reduce the cooldowns of mass confusion, big bad woodoo and the summon itself (mass confusion and big bad woodoo have very long cooldowns too, i wouldn't rely on them to keep the dogs up all the time).
About this being a solo inferno build, i see it as a fun build to play and i had in mind to try something similar too, but i don't expect it to be very viable in inferno.
First of all: you can't be 100% sure to have the dogs up all the time, even with very high chance to summon them and grave injustice as passive, with just a little bad luck you'll find yourself without dogs and with all the skills in cooldown.
Second: it is potentially a good aoe build, what about bosses or single powerful monsters? Against a single, powerful foe you can't realy on your passive chances to summon dogs, this means you sacrifice them once and then what? i don't think haunt spam kiting around the boss is going to be very effective.
If the SK is any example... Bosses might often have adds...
I think it's fairly safe to say that a majority (if not all) bosses will have some form of add. We can't know until we see the game but how else would you be able to get health globes to regain health?
about this actual build... I don't think it will work at all. Sacrifice builds can't work if your main and basically only form of damage is sacrifice. You WILL lose all your dogs and once you do... what's the plan?
You might want to consider circle of life instead of jungle fortitude since you're blowing away your pets anyways you're not benefitting fully from the harder to kill pets.
I don't know personally. I can only see sacrifice as a situational skill. If your summon zombie dogs isn't on cool-down, then I'd use it. Other-wise...why kill your only distraction? :x

Every skill is situational in some way. For example: "If there isn't a pile of monsters, why use AoE skills?" Besides, there can be other summons in sacrifice builds as well, which means the dogs wouldn't be your only distraction.
You can also have sacrifice without zombie dogs as long as you have either circle of life, devolution, or boogie man. In my opinion Mass confusion - devolution would be the best choice, because the skill doesn't really have greatly superior runes and mass confusion seems to be a great defensive CC skill overall. It also has the best chance to summon the dogs. Big Bad Voodoo has too long cooldown, the area of effect seems small and it's semi-useless in panic-situation.
Of course, but there's a difference between extremely rare situations and a normal situation :P.
Interesting. Although I would forgo dogs completely. Give and open skills slot for another damage spell or defensive ability. Even though Mass confusion has a longer cool down, 50% is still a pretty high percent that zombies can ressurect. A single Sacrificed zombie Does 275% which i pretty decent.
Maybe using the next of kin rune would help as it adds 35% chance to re-resurrect a dog/l?
http://us.battle.net...ZijV!feT!caZcZZ Is something I had in mind but not necessarily the build I was looking for in the first place. I might consider it. As pet's IMO look very lackluster. Nothing compared to what the Necro was in D2. I know this is a new game but I would have love a true summoning class.
