I personally think this build is decent for single target DPS and AoE. There are only 2 things I would like to change:
1)Hex to Spirit Walk with Honored guest rune for mana regen every 15 seconds and a perfect escape ability for tough situations
2) Rune on Garg to Big Stinker to make sure monsters he tanks have their dmg reduced for additional 20% by Bad Medicine passive
I will use same build for my WD with changes I listed. Nice job and very smart choice of skills.
well the point of the thread is a level 30 build, big stinker requires level 48...but i could see swapping hex for Spirit walk: Honored guest, i just like the idea of the heal that is cast. sounds pretty beneficial.
as for keeping bad medicine up, the rabid dogs and poision dart and uhhhh...locust swarm take care of that
but thanks for the feedback.
I think it will work for level 48 with the big stinker, and i definetly thought of that!!! So good job!
Nice build! Yes, thank you for the feedback.
some very valid points you are making.
definetly like the acid cloud idea, maybe replace hex with it.
what rune do you like for acid cloud? I think the lob blob bomb would be neat, depending on how the dmg mechanic works...such as the blobs dmg auras overlapping...could be pretty devastating.
I think it will work in normal or maybe nightmare, I like it because it will allow you to sit back and let the pets do a considerable amount of damage while only casting a few spells.
this will work for me as a casual gamer, since i am about to have alot less time to play or (not being able to devote alot of actual attention to my actual gameplay [first born son]).
so here's the basic idea, PETS and DOTS! Yep, still need to cast locusts occasionally and spam some darts on your hard targets. the grasp should be nice when you start to get swarmed, it will let you run back and you can toss some locusts up.
the zombie dogs will do some poison dmg also, this will keep bad medicine up for the most part. should reduce the dmg your pets take pretty well, allow for more laziness.
any pointers? I am up for changing Hex, but i like it as an OH SH*t button, but i'm not sure if it will be direct enough to stop a mob from smashing me...maybe cast it slightly off screen, hoping it will go for the target closest to me...
anyways, here's to may 15, can't come soon enough! WEEEEEE!!! Thanks for reading my post guys
ps - feel free to post your level 30 summoner builds below, remember, level 30!!!
i played d2 for years. my first born will be arriving around may 1st, i doubt i'll be be burnt out on a game i can't play quite as much as i want. so the fun will be stretched out for at least a year, thats my reasoning... voted yes
D2 Skill Tree, where you pretty much poured all your skill points into one or two skills and used it thousand of times over. In d3 you'll at least have 6 abilities to play around with, and there's a lot more versability.
this. seriously hated how your skills basically sucked at low levels except for some classes. sorc suffered from this the worst imo...
