Why does this happen? I log in for 5 minutes with tons of new posts, make one post, close my browser, open it again 10 minutes later, and all those posts are now unmarked.
It is so practical to just see which posts are new fast and efficiently. This also happens if I leave the bowser without touching it for long periods of time (~30 minutes).

after logging in, if there are lots of new posts you havent read, and you read 1 or 2 of them or make one post, then close your browser or log out, the forum coding assumes that you read all of them. or something like that.
