Well there are alot of useful strategies and descriptions in the Diablo 2 Ultimate Strategy Guide pertaining to Skills but there are two issues if we just reproduce the content directly 1) some of the content could be outdated 2) copyright infringement. I have a copy of it printed in 2001. '
On amazon, the guide costs $2.18 (new) and $0.01 (used). Mine came with the battle chest
A lot of the information from it is heavily outdated. For instance, look at the rune list... It still mentions alternate rune names (Io/Po). We obviously don't have to worry about that. It's good for general-idea stuff though, I think.

And in either case, I always find printed guides to be far less optimal than player guides.
A printed guide may say that "Thorns is a devastating skill that makes monsters die right in front of you."
A player guide may say "Thorns sucks once you get to higher levels. Don't use it."
While the latter statement is obviously aimed at players playing past normal, the sentence actually shows a deeper analysis of the skill, since the writer also takes into account how the skill evolves with the skill. Besides, any skill basically works if the only goal is to get through Normal.
Well if no one else feels comfortable writing skill descriptions, I guess I'll have to go through most of them. Though I doubt I can finish over 50 pages today.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
What the hell, I had dibs on traps for assassin. Oh well, I'll put the descriptions on the rest of druid skills. That will take quite some time to do.
Hey now, we need as much help as possible. If users want to help out, there's nothing wrong with it, ;P. There's plenty of work to be done, don't worry, Venom!
Well all pages aren't exactly done. Some assassin and druid skills have doubtful formatting, we're missing tab images for druid, assassin, barbarian, paladin and amazon, and descriptions are also lacking from many pages.
However I must say it was an impressive amount of articles that we created in the last days, and under all circumstances, I'd say it was a job well done

he thinks its a good idea to get our own skill pics for each skill and to extract the animations for them
i know how to get the pics
but i have no idea how to get the animations
so what is next
Well the pictures are easy, just play the game and use print screen. Make sure you have good gamma setting through, we don't want the pictures to be too bright or too dim.
And we can't really get the animations I'm afraid, so scratch that.
