-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I would like to add "acting mature" to that list. I don't care if someone has 40 lvl 99 chars with the best gear, has 5.000 posts, have read all the books etc etc, if tat person is rude, spams, and generally acts bad, he/she shouldn't be promoted no matter what.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
being an assface and acting immature will get you nowhere

By that statement do you mean you belong to the "assface" group?
Seriously though, I never have either. The last levels just drag out. I read from someone who raced for first position in a ladder tournament that a death at lvl 98 represented 500 Baal-runs worth of experience.

highest lvl char i ever had was lvl 96 barb and he never even got on ladder it was gay so now i stop at right about lvl 90 cause well u dont really need to go any higher.
in reality, my chars are really well off at 85. my pally is the highest ever, and he's 90. with him i can kill any monster in the game, (excluding ubers) and many pvp characters.
