I've moved this thread to the "other games" forum, as it's not about Diablo 3, but rather an "anti Diablo 3" thread. By moving this I hope this thread will be more about other games and less about a rant of Diablo 3. (Just a reminder, this is still "Diablofans" and many many many of us still enjoy Diablo, even when we take a temporary break, which has always been the case for most people, in D1 and D2 as well.)
So please... name other interesting games and try to keep this thread positive. Thanks!
P.S.: To also contribute to the thread, a game I was recently almost buying was "Factorio". But I decided against it, because it looks like I would totally get addicted. The only other game besides D3 that I've played in recent years is Terraria - it's like Minecraft with SNES nostalgia graphics, and I think the soundtrack is amazing. Oh and I watched Empyrian play "Rust" a few weeks back and that game looked very interesting if you're into "FPS marries sandbox".
The game i have loved for over 20 years has turned into a dead set bore....im so dissapointed.
All i do is grind....day after day, the same crap....lookin for items that may me go one second faster in a time trial!!! WTF??
Surely someone can make me a diablo style game.....with new bits in it. New adventures,finding stuff that makes you more powerful.
It really is a joy when u are going to parts unknown,beating villains,and becoming more badass!

I dont know what the answer is, but without any new content,just doin the same thing over and over again for no reward.

I think what you're experiencing is completely natural. When stimuli becomes perfunctory we may become disengaged with the material. It's truly subjective. It's not an unusual occurrence that some people seem to believe is entirely the fault Blizzard. It's just how we're designed to experience media. So that all said and contrary to your final request I would like to encourage you to do something completely different. Play a game that does not play like Diablo.

Im afraid it has been lost. Well for me anyway.

I have no problem with repetitive farming.. that's what Diablo has always been. What I dislike is how powerful the meta has become.
Unless I play a specific spec and have a specific paragon level I will not be able to find a group to play in.
