i rewatched paprika last night. and i noticed it might have been an inspiration for inception.

Cheers Daemaro, I'll grab the first episode and see if I like it. I don't mind blood in animes at all, it's just when they try too hard to sicken the viewer with too many body parts and organs flying around.

The first episode was good, a few nice fights, and the characters are all unique. Was a bit short though. Really leaves you wanting to watch more.

Lately I've really been wanting to watch Ghost in the Shell. I always see it on Adult Swim with that crappy dubbing and I'm always really, really confused as to what's going on. I want to watch it from the very beginning. I think it started with a movie? And then looking up the series it looks like there's more than one so I'm really not sure where to start. Can anyone who knows about the show tell me in what order I should watch it all?

I seem to have found season two of Stand Alone Complex. I like the sleepy feel of this show. but I can't tell if it has a sleepy feel cause it just comes on at 3 in the morning usually or if it's all the soft lens glowing cinematography.

About a year or two ago I started watching the Naruto and Bleach subs, but recently I gave up on Bleach after this last round of deplorable filler. Maybe I should go back. Not sure.

Cowboy Bebop is the only anime I can watch in english anymore. I have to admit though, the Japanese Dragon Ball Z is hardly watchable, however Dragonball was fucking awesome in its original version, so much was cut out in the english version, and it's ok that he sounds like a squealing little girl because he's a kid.

For the current season, Nichijou (if you want absurd hilarity). For something different, I recommend FLCL, Dennou Coil and Baccano.

EDIT: Uh, if you watch them all in succession, it'll take longer, and thus keep you "busy" longer
