I haven't experienced this, but I've heard about some downright horrifying cases of it.
One woman in Britain had this where she would wake up in the middle of the night, unable to move, and this like zombie-corpsey girl would climb up onto her bed and sit on her chest, constricting her breath, and stare right into her eyes for like four minutes.
I've read about this before. If I'm not mistaken, this painting by Fuseli was believed to be inspired by sleep paralysis. But of course back then they believed this condition was much more than it really was.

I wouldn't be able to handle that.
See, if it was me, she's be sitting on me naked, and she'd be a hot corpse woman.
Um... I think I've gotten something a little like that. Sometimes when I wake up suddenly and try to fall back to sleep, well, it's rather hard to explain...
It's like my brain is sucking in on itself and (as was written earlier) it becomes harder for me to move and harder for me to try and get myself out of it the longer I wait. At first, it feels strangely good, like (for lack of a better term) an orgasm in my head or something, but after a little bit it starts to hurt, really badly- like someone is taking a flag pole and jamming it in to my brain.
I never experienced hallucinations, though, except once when I was at my grandparents house. There's actually an interesting story behind that, but I don't feel like explaining it.
I've had this plenty of times. When I was younger, my family used to go on road trips, and I would almost always fall asleep in the car. I would wake up and find myself unable to move or speak. But I would be able to see everything going on around me, and hear any conversations my parents were having, or hear any music playing on the radio.
It would usually last about 5-10 minutes, and at the time, I would be terrified that I slept wrong, and broke my neck or something. And when my body finally woke up, I would be almost hysterical. My heart would be racing so fast, and I would almost start to hyperventilate.
I don't think I was affected by hallucinations though, thankfully.
Luckily for me, it hasn't happened for a couple of years.
I've had this before too; it's possible that I could have had a lot of episodes, but I remember it mostly in my teens. It's scary as hell, like everyone has described you basically can't move or speak but can see everything around you. I've never had the case of seeing things like one of my friends has, who also claims he has been thrown across his room which I find hard to believe. Yeah I watched something on discovery channel about it years ago and I was like holy crap I have that....wait other people have that too! I haven't had an episode in years though, but I would freak out and after I was awake I didn't want to see anything that showed my reflection or had reflective surface. I know that it's mostly unreasearched but I have heard that they now have medication for it so I'd talk to your doctor if it's really bad. I think it's just like a state of being both awake and asleep.

well hell, wouldnt you think it was something "more" if it happened to you and it couldn't be explained? tht would be freakin scary.idono, i feel for anyone it would happen to, jeez, our brains suck lol

Really weird I dont understand it much but i find that if i go to bed feeling either bit "off" or weird im almost guarenteed to get it, altho thats not always the case....messed up stuff

Fuck you, I'm a dragon.
And it was very very scary. I remembered it kept me worried about a week.
Thankfully it occurred only once.
My advise is to consult a doctor and seek treatment if needed.
Take care.
You can't even seem to talk? Or are your vocal muscles also non-moving?
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
You're paralyzed..and you are like 50/50 aware of whats going on...but you hallucinate
