You can't say something is good or bad as a fact. Good and bad are matters of personal or societal opinion. (EX: Cannibalism is bad - FACT! Well, that would be an opinion, as many other people could believe Cannibalism to be good).

Herpes are bad. Fact. Cancer is bad. Fact. Getting shot in the testicles is bad. Fact.
I got an Ipod nano for christmas, and it is working very nice for me. I have many songs and videos on it. I don't think you need to by something that espensive to enjoy songs or video wherever you go.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
Sony Ericsson W600 something... It's not the best, it can only play .mp3 for some reason, which gets irritating. But I get a phone as well, so I'm happy.

.mp3 sucks. Free Lossless Audio Codec for the win and for the true music geeks. xD
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
You are, believe it or not, not an audiophile and more than likely know nothing about audio files/bit rates/codecs.
I put on my headphones, I load an .mp3 version of a song, I hear one thing. I load an .flac version of a song, I hear something very different. If that makes me an audiophile, I am proud of it.
Of course, it is a matter of opinion and a matter of who hears what or who wants to hear what, and "mp3. sucks" is also an opinion, so I don't think I broke any rules, just presented in a drastic manner.
You cannot hear the difference between a 320 kbps mp3 and a lossless audio files. Also, a lossless audio file is about 10 times larger than its equivalent mp3 form.
That's an opinion. And you will not prove that it is a fact to someone who DOES hear the difference.
It's very provable. I simply play 5 songs, 2 times each with one time being lossless and one being compressed. Then I make you choose which is which. Of course you wouldn't be able choose them correctly, because you would be guessing.
I really wonder how that is provable when you can as well fabricate them...
I also wonder how that is provable when some songs are made to a certain degree of quality and their .flac and .mp3 versions sound exactly the same because they were recorded in low quality to begin with. .flac doesn't improve quality. It just contains the original quality.

I would let you choose which songs and still prove you wrong.
I went threw 4 mp3 players and has far as it goes, they all suck! I want something that is very durable quality wise and long term wise. My friend puts his Ipod threw hell and it still works, so I'll probably buy one of those. You’re right goodguy, those fucking things are really over priced, it cost a 1 dollar to make them and they sell them for 300$.
Note: (Every Mp3 player I ever owned never lasted a week)

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
I have the Creative Zen: Vision M, my dad has an Ipod Touch. He's in love with it, and I'm in love with mine. I've had it for a year now, no problems. I bought it when it came out at like 200 for 30gb hard drive, awesome video, radio, radio and voice recorder, music of course, photos, partitionable hard drive, and customizable background and interface. I love it. I've put it through hell, and its still working great.
What's good about warranties is that my brother had a 1st gen iPod and the 3rd gen was out. He put it in the toilet and they gave him a free 3rd gen nano. P.S. I've had my iPod since a bit before summer and it's working well.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

If you don't need a screen the shuffle kicks ass. Seen them in nasty bike accidents, slid along bitumen roads and still working fine. The legs and arms of those wearing them don't fare so well.
The touch is beautiful to use and once apple finally get off their ass and release the SDK we may start seeing some nice programs/games for it which will be very nice.

What brands were the players and what happened to them in less then a week?
As of tomorrow I will have had my player for a week and I still have 60GB of freespace. I thought it would be full by now considering all the music I have. I guess I'm being picky with what I put on it.
I have an iRiver and I love it. It only has 512 megs on it, and I still love it. I can hold about eight hours of music on it which is more than I ever need at one time. Since out of the thousands of songs in my music collection only a minority of those songs will I consistently listen to at a given time.
It's pretty small, but not so small and wafer thin that I'm afraid it's going to bust when I use it to exercise. It has the audio equalizers so I can adjust treble, bass, and all that stuff. And it lasts like 20 hours on a single double A battery.
i have the original ipod mini and man do i need a new one b/c the battery life is begin to deplete faster than i anticipated... also my phone is a chocolate (which are horrible phones just so you know) and that has mp3 capability built in, but i can't transfer my songs from itunes into the phone which really sux..... but that piece of junk will be going back to the store soon....

But that doesn't really count...
Except right now its a situation of opinion - iPods good or bad. And goodguy is just being opinionated
"Cards and flowers on your window, your friends all plead for you to stay,
sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."

I'm not a music geek, so no thanks.

To find the truth, you must risk everything.
