But you just started making sense Thasador. Now we can tie this back to my earlier post about how you define good and evil.
So, if societies decide what is good and what is evil, then God can perfectly well exist without evil, because there are bound to be societies where what we view as evil is considered to be good. As such, God is capable of being perfect and all-good.
That is not saying he exists though, only that if he does he could be all-good.

Yes, God can exist without evil and yes, in many cultures, people precieve God as holy good. But if you dont believe in god, some people label you as evil.
This is why it is the society that defines good or evil.
..............we are so off topic

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
yes, but I am not talkinga bout God as being some part of society, I am talking about him being the creator and watcher of all and everything. And people often refer to God as being "good" and not evil, but how can he be one and not the other?

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I think there isn't so much to say about angels, their existence is entirely depending upon whether you believe in God or not.
However doing that birngs up a new problem. That would place Satan on an equal footing with God, but it is always pointed out that God is much more powerful than the devil.

thats true. but to answer this threads question yes i believe in the existance of Angels and like you said i too therefore believe in God, Lucifer nd their domains of Heaven and Hell respectively. but im no religious nut!
God and Lucifer are both often described as powerful beings yet neither one really seems to be able to do much to the other, God is powerful yes he is the almighty creator, but he doesnt seem to be able to just kill Lucifer, this always kinda bugs me a bit, surely GOd is powerful enough to kill him, if God can wipe entire civilazations fro mthe face of the earth surely he can kill a fallen angel. but if God was able to kill him then i suppose that poses a question much like in South Park when Satan kills Saddam (uh the second time or is it the third time) where would he go? detroit?
God and Lucifer seem more like two immortals locked in combat, neither one posesing an advantage over the other. so rather than each other directly they fight each other over the fate of the souls of mankind, or at least the souls of those that believe in God and Lucifer
i like the name Lucifer more than Satan, its sounds cooler because it comes from latin, lux, lucis, "light", and ferre, "to bear, bring", thus Lucifer means Light Bearer, as the first Angel created that kinda makes sense. this is is of course before he fell from Heaven due to his pride and wishing to be equal with God

the book of revelation is a pretty cool book to sit down and read, just for enjoyment ive read it a couple times.Anyways for what i voted for, i said yes, but not the christian kind of angel
God doesn't ''kill'' Satan, because He has plans for him in the future. If you don't know what God is planning, I suggest checking out the Book of Revelation...
i never said God kills or has killed him, i was commenting on what if.
i have read revelations it was never good, one of my favourite books in the Bible.

The Divine Comedy is three parts Dante's Inferno, Dante's Purgatorio and Dante's Paradiso. Dante's Inferno is the most common of the three.
they helped formed the idea of what is commonly accepted as Heaven and Hell. in the inferno there are 9 layers, each one corrisponds with a varying degree of torture and torment based on that person's sins, murderers and betrayers are in the lowest level near Lucifer, while lesser crimes are near the top in Purgatory, where they repent, and thus attempt to enter Heaven (Paradiso)
the whole thing is fairly poetic but beautifully written it is very good, some school actually make you read it (and paradise lost) and write essays about all the imagery and symbolism and stuff in it.
i just read it and Paradise Lost because they has cool stuff in it.
-Abandon all hope all ye who enter here. Canto II (or is it III?) Dante's Inferno
-it is better to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven. Lucifer Paradise Lost

Why would God have to kill Satan? He can just remove him.
And considering how many doomsday prophecies there have been in the world, what is there that woud make the prophecised defeat of Satan any more probable?
