So are the stat caps from items or just all things. Because if the 250% CC is just items then it will be ok because you can get to 360% with a gem, but if the gem is included then it would make CC gear useless... you could get like 2-3 pieces of gear with CC and the rest would be stat waste.
This, this is awesome:
Vengeance Is Mine Vengeance Is Mine
desc : Cooldown: 90 seconds / Turn into the physical embodiment of Vengeance for 15 seconds. / *Side Guns: Whenever you activate a skill, you gain 2 additional shots to the left and right for 100% weapon damage. / *Homing Rockets: Rockets shoot automatically at nearby enemies for 75% weapon damage.
Rune A : This rune is not yet designed. E-mail John Yang with your ideas.
Training Drone : A mechanical contraption orbits you, dealing 150% weapon damage per second to enemies around you.
Personal Mortar : Launch grenades at random enemies outside melee range for 200% weapon damage.
Stimulants : Heal for 10% of maximum life each second.
Its awesome if you can handle 90 second cool downs. :/

It says you have max 25 movement speed from items so I guess you can have more movement speed then 25 if you spend your paragon points on the movement speed atribute right?
Might be, if you interpret it literally, yes.
I hope this is not the case though, just like paragon and item MF contribute to the same cap right now.
ItemPassive_Unique_Ring_619_x1 - While casting Town Portal you gain an immunity bubble.
Bubble hearth!!...err Bubble Portal!!!
That will be beautiful for hardcore!
You are in the middle of a hellish battle with an elite back, health is draining, all skills are in a cooldown, and resources are drained! BAM!!
Cast a bubble town portal and get the hell outta there!
Yes!
I so hope I can make an Earthquake Barb, due to its reduced cooldown (and hopefully unchanged passive to reduce its cooldown by an additional 30 secs). With rune to make a 15 sec cooldown on Earthquake, hell yeah.

I missed the reduced cooldown. Where is that exactly?

It's one of the new affixes that roll on gear, as well as part of the offensive tab in the paragon 2.0 window, and the new gem (diamond) also gives cd reduction if socketed on the head slot.

Critical Hit Chance - *You may have a maximum of +40.00% Critical Hit Chance from items.
Critical Hit Damage - *You may have a maximum of +250.00% Critical Hit Damage from items.
gtfo what a fucking joke, and their idea is to balance this with paragon crit bonuses?
so you make it a time sink rather than an item sink now? back to the players with no lives being #1 I guess
CD is gotten with 1 90+ cd weapon + 1 marquise emerald + cd on another weapon, yeah good design, not
Btw don't trust on Blizzard looking much on feedback especially after the beta hit's the net, just remembering all the ignored class feedback on WoW tests make me throw up again.
But then they're implementing almost everything due to player feedback? Odd.
Hey Overneathe, I remember you posting (or maybe it was your colleague) on the official forums that you had infos on the new paragon xp chart, and you even intended to make a paragon calculator. Could you please give us an indication of the xp conversion in ROS ? Thank you very much for all the infos
THERE IS NO INFORMATION ABOUT ROS XP CONVERSION YET.
Thanks.
You've been tricked by some streamers that came up with their own (completely nonsensical) calculations. But there is no official information yet about the paragon level -> paragon points conversion (only XP and not number of levels will count, but we have no clue yet how many levels will gain you how many points in RoS).
I was unaware of Molster's post, sorry. I am calm, but I am worried about influential people making claims they "know" the conversion while Blizzard already said it's not finalized yet (and Molster himself pointed out that it's a moving target, probably the reason why he hasn't posted it yet). Still, sorry for yelling.
6 days after Molster's post, there was this bluepost:
- The leveling curve for Paragon 2.0 has not yet been finalized, so we are unable to provide a direct conversion of current Paragon levels > Shared Paragon levels at this time.
As long as nothing is finalized, posting any sort of conversion table will just result in 100 re-posts everywhere, and from past experience we know that the disclaimer ("this is beta info and WILL change") will just not be re-posted along with it. It's like the Blizzard product slate, although there's even a message at the bottom people re-post it all the time and believe it's true.
Its awesome if you can handle 90 second cool downs. :/

Ha. Bagstone.
No, its never been a hard cap, its always been an item cap. Skills could always push it beyond 25%.
Eh, fine. But Paragon can boost is further now.

qft
think this is the nail in the coffin for me
game is nothing but a time sink now with no endgame
all characters will get the majority of their stats from paragon 2.0 buffs and gear now means pretty much nothing with these caps
so when I hit caps in paragon bonuses gear is irrelevant
yay
But then they're implementing almost everything due to player feedback? Odd.
Ha. Bagstone.
Almost everything is new, whatever has been changed has been mentioned specifically.
