I fully expect a QQstorm from people who don't understand how ARPG expansions work, and also fully expect to ignore it completely.
you know, ARPG normally don't have auctions with real money involved, or black real money market.
Remove the rose-tinted-glasses maybe? That's exactly how D2 and Titan-Quest worked for years.
There's 2 ways they could go. Either go the Torchlight 2 offline full moddable with no economy, or go the PoE/D3 way, online only with an actual player-drive economy. Whether the choice was good or bad, there's no way to remove the "real money" aspect that's tied to the second model.

Wow...just wow! I was sad that D3 didn't have the Paladin or a Knight-like class available, and now I find out that they're adding a Holy Knight class in the expansion... Oh HELL yes!! :Thumbs Up:
As for the other information, the Paragon change seems great! And the items from Loot 2.0 look pretty awesome! I like how they made the Legendary's special ability orange. I'm not sure about the yellow text though. Are those enchantments?
The atmosphere seems like it's going to be dark, creepy and gothic. Great stuff! I'm definitely hyped now!
One more thing though... It was already very tiring going through the game 3 times before you reach Inferno on new characters. Didn't they say that they'll remove a difficulty? With an extra Act, I'd say that they should.
Would be weird to see Inferno go away, but there's one thing they are missing too!
My biggest issues with D3 (current version) were lack of randomized content, How Paragon gave you incentive to play only one class and how the skill rune system took replay value away from rerolling the same class as a different build.
So far They announced loot runs which takes care of my randomization issue.
They Announced a Paragon system with point allocation that has no cap and is account wide... basically promoting Alt character play...
They fixed everything, Sure they still have the Skill/rune system but the paragon 2.0 system is enough that it makes me want to play more than one class and thats all i wanted.
Other things like better loot, new class, new act, bosses, monsters, items, mystic and transmorg are all great bonuses as well.
If the expansion released today i would wait on a 10 hour line to buy it.
No cap on paragon? So that means infinite paragon levels? Lawl
I'm seriously worried about that. Some people would be paragon 1000 by now, the majority hasn't even reached p100; how are they gonna make sure the game still stays balanced and these 24/7 players don't cause havoc to the system?
From the images I've seen each character has a cap on how much they can place in a stat. For base stats it seems to be 50 points. They each add 5 stat points each which means all stats can get a 250 bonus to their stats

I am though, its because I don't expect the best game in the freaking world.
Guys seriously, games are meant to be fun if you don't like it..just put it down, walk away, go outside.
I mean come on, no need for such negative feedback and vulgar language..because the game isn't what YOU want it to be.
Its Diablo 3, not Me 3.

Charms or Runestones!

...then nooo.
Good thing though are the features they added from Path of Exile: Build changing legendaries and rerolling a stat on item.
Oh, hello Path of Exile, we'd like to steal your mapping idea, only ours will be shitty.
Yep, PoE invented it.
Ha. Bagstone.
So PoE is just utter shit then?
D3 could be shitty, but god dam PoE is just UTTER shit!!!!
Played 5 minutes and logged off, they stole ideas from these other games.
I don't respect companies that steal, obviously Diablo did it right back.
Gosh you big silly willy.

- No word on the talisman and charms?
- Will the mystic be in a patch with the 2.0 loot and 2.0 paragon -or- in an expansion?
