I wonder why in the picture/link Inarious' Hand is glowing like eht embers of a fire...Is that a representation of his power or a currupting influence?
Thats Imperius and sometimes fire is just fire.
Lol I feel like an idiot for posting Inarious! But thanks

If that made sense to you, Bravo! I think I even confused myself...
An innovative game that is poorly executed is not a good game, but a game that’s executed very, very well is always a great game.
Ok so polish > evolution? You guys pretty much invented RTS (or at the very least put it on the map) and also provided the building blocks for the community-born MOBA genre. Yes you can make insane amounts of money by doing something much better than everyone else (WoW = Everquest with a Warcraft skin and polished very well compared to everyone else). But does that mean you're not going to surprise us with anything revolutionary anymore? That's the Blizzard I miss.
edit: I feel bad for innovative developers who take it on the chin to help evolve gaming. Often it requires a lot of word of mouth for sales to reach acceptable levels or multiple versions to get it right but SOMEONE had to take the risk and it bothers me that a company with the talent and resources Blizzard has refuses to take the risk and would rather someone else come up with the brilliant ideas and then use Blizzard's superior bankroll to put more manhours into polishing the idea.
How about...an innovative game that's executed very, very well Blizzard? I hope that's what Titan is supposed to be.
If you watch closely, Imperius is not fighting Diablo at all, they are moving side by side in the same direction. They might form a pact against Tyrael, or who knows? The only thing certain from the trailer is, that Imperius and Tryrael are not BFF!
May 15'th can't come soon enough
Nah dude watch it again, Imperius swung his spear and slapped Big D in the face with it.

"The righteous shall fall before the wicked, and all of Creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell."
Screw the commercial I wanna smash things and I just get even more mad at them when I get into D2, all due to how game releases just before the submission of 3 my projects and the proximity of dates of my 2 finals, in my graduation year, and I still have no answer from them with regards positions I have applied for...

Sorry, couldn't help myself.
So far i've watched the trailer 4 times consecutively
So this 2nd video proves that tyrael is indeed holding Solarion, since he thrusts it into the ground at the end of the TV spot
Yes and now that i think about this. Knowing that Tyreal had us use to soul stones. I think Tyreal might be the bad guy. Since we learned that the Soulstones were used to Aid Diablo in the long run. Now im questioning if Tyreal is good or not.

They never were. Ever heard of Westwood? They are the ones that turned the RTS genre into what it is today. With Dune 2 and Command & Conquer, Westwood is the father of the RTS. Though Blizzard did innovate the genre a bit. And when you got a tried and true thing, there isn't much to innovate when you are a business. Plus they could of went the route of C&C4 and completely changed the gameplay and then bombed.

I don't always burn. But when I do, I use hellfire.
Ok, so I've had a chance to take a lot of screenshots. (On a side note: want higher quality video!)
New footage starts out with this beacon in the clouds that turns out to be Imperius' weapon, Solarion, rushing down from the heavens (har har). It's normal color is golden, so it's reasonable to believe that Solarion is simply coming off its charge.
Imperius fighting Diablo. It seems that the video cuts into the scene after Imperius has just given Diablo a blow to his... face? Chest? Not certain here.
Imperius yet again, this time in a room, reaching his right hand out towards something/someone... with fire coming out of it? Materializing his spear?
The camera changes perspective to give us an overview of that room. Going by that, it seems to be the same unknown room that we were shown in the last TV spot (but from a different view).
a. Something is manifesting in the middle of the room. It turns out to be Tyrael, but exactly is going on?
b. Imperius attacks Tyrael, who blocks it, but because of the force is pushed pack into a wall.
Again referencing the previous TV spot, it turns out that what Tyrael was thrusting Solarion at was the floor. Quite forcefully, if you didn't guess that already.
a. Which brings up a question -- Just what is up with the last video (very briefly) showing Tyrael making a grab at the spear? Is it because it was never intended to be viewed one frame at a time?
When sin wars end the Angiris Council voted for humanity fate. The vote was tie but Imperius was confident that Tyrael will vote to eliminate humanity but he did not and to get truce with Hell he delivered Imperius to the demons for mutilation and eternal torment...( from book of Cain).
It was Inarius that was delivered up to the Burning Hells. Although that's not to say that Imperius wasn't very happy with Tyrael's deciding vote to have mankind spared...
I'm a little skeptical about the whole 'community' thing that Jay said as well as the removal of the Mystic. The Mystic really could've been great with potential enchants not offered on gear, or even better...had they kept basic runestones (not the convoluted mess they had with runestones being 'attuned' to one ability already) and allowed the Mystic to enchant them for a hefty sum (at least the higher end ones), you could've had an extra layer of customization. And at the same time a way to follow with their goal of wanting players to stick with one build where you can switch out runestones, but doing so will wipe the enchant you currently have on the one inserted. BUT...no sense in crying over it now...what is done is done.
The community thing, however...still not liking the lack of a decent chat system as well as no way to make player created games is troublesome. I don't want to think it, and I am probably wrong, but...I can't help but think that those decisions were made for the 'well being' of the RMAH and reducing trading in games where Blizzard can't dip their hands in player pockets via either gold or money. Don't get me wrong, I know Blizzard has to make money for the upkeep of their servers, and they couldn't get away with a subscription fee like with WoW because the Diablo fanbase would've said heck no and Blizzard would've lost A LOT of potential sales, but it just seems that it's a community loss overall.
Though as for the commercials and videos...looks good indeed. Can't wait to see the story unfold that's for sure.

so not really a surprise see Imperius be evil angel now ( fire wing, and wing are the angel)
I think in the end the side will be:
Tyrael= See human potential (for good and evil) and want humans to live alone
Diablo= what's to torment humans and use them to win eternal conflict
lilith = what's humans to destroy both heaven and hell
Imperius = what's revenge and torment or exterminate humanity
other angels = Mix thing some see positive humanity others no
Humans =support All some evil, some Tyrael way others Lilith way and with worldstone handicap off can again be the more powerfull than all ( may only black soulstone counter this I think)
Leah= here mother Adria had spent some nights with Aidan (diablo 1 hero, dark wanderer) AFTER he had diablo's soulstone.
General book of Cain has some nice small things spread that make you think for possible routes that the story can take so will have to wait for 15 to learn more
I think you're confusing Imperius with Inarius. (sp?)

C&C came out AFTER WC: Orcs & Humans. Dune II didn't put RTS on the map. It was shit and not anywhere close to remotely popular enough to make RTS a well known genre that everyone wanted to copy until WC came out. You're right Blizzard didn't invent RTS. That's why I added the last part because I figured there was probably a technically accurate precursor but I forgot about it and rightfully so because Dune II was extremely forgettable.
The scene with imperius looking at his hand.. its extremely short, but I just looked at it a couple hundred times. It looks an awful lot like his hand is disintegrating, and already one finger is disembodied, also solarius, which is HIS spear, appears to be very pissed off at, but it appears to be pissed off in a very tyrael way... very intriguing

An interesting proposition, but I don't think it's very likely simply because his hand is shown to be fine in later frames, when he and Tyrael are having a "disagreement". I'll agree with you that there's definitely something going on, though.
This commercial was even better, can't wait to see the cinematics in whole.
Also, interesting to hear that Jay did all the work on designing the monk and his skills. All I can say is way to go, Jay. The class plays beautifully.

He is. And I can understand how one can get confused by the names when they both end in '-us'.
