I know we already have monk, but i think that Exorcist is actually a very cool holy type char. (don't laugh at me now lol)
unlike monk, Exorcist focus on holy magic, some holy summon, and maybe buffing skills! i personally think that it would be cool. and besides, Exorcists are kinda scary too, lol.
what do u guys think? are there any of you out there like supportive type of characters like i do?

They won't add a second holy-based class. Plus, exorcists banish things, they don't summon them lol.

They won't add a class so obviously biased towards one side or another. The classes are fighting for Humanity, not Heaven or Hell. Diablo is not a religious war, and thus a Catholic word like that would not likely make it into the game.
Monk has shown no religious nature. And there are many Buhdist Monks. (Meaning they are not religious.) The Paladin has a "holy" feel, but isn't aligned with Heaven. And the Witch Doctor is not of the same religious virtue that the Witch Doctor of old was. Exorcist has no other meaning, it has only one meaning. And the meaning, as well as the word itself, is a Catholic, and thus religious, word. To bring that kind of idea into the world of Diablo would to make it something completely different then either of the previous two games.

The monk is religious- the religion in itself hailing the principle of asceticism.
The paladin has been associated with Christianism but also Muslim through history- another religious cue.
While for the exorcist I quite agree with you that the word itself is mostly associated with Christianism, though exorcism has been practised by many cultures.
Now for the funny part, the witchdoctor is known as a healer...wether u are ill from a disease or ill coz an evil spirit possessed u....so i daresay he can fulfill the exorcist job.
But there ain't gonna be much of a job in sanctuary...I mean if there were humans possessed, ok...but here there are demons...
Whatever BS I just spewed, if blizzard want to do an exorcist, they will just do it...though I have some doubts:)
Monks are known in the real life to be Buhdist, which is a Philosophy, not a religion. And the in-game Paladin is aligned with a belief not having to do with Heaven or Hell (Similar to the Druid and the Necromancer)
So, unless you can make a non-religious Exorcist (Which is highly unlikely, considering it is purely of Catholic design) it will not make an appearance.
Granted, Blizzard could read this and, in a way, give me a big middle finger and put it in. o.O Doubtful, but you never know with Blizzard. Lol.

actually last spring I had a religous history class and buddism is a religion what you might have mistaken is a phrase called "spiritual philosophy"
which is another term for religion and if you dont want to take my word for it wiki search it .
as far as the paladin goes where did you hear that?
a belief in holy would have to do with heaven to that there can be no arguement holy shield (hence the word holy) with a cross on it. blessed hammer if not blessed by the heavens then who.
and all through the books of diablo it talks of religion. so that is not a valid arguement....
