I wouldnt like it. I mean. they are essentially putting a werewolf in the new wow expansion. they dont need to do that same thing with another one of their games.
I wouldn't mind that at all.. as we've fought corrupt rogues and a necro already.
Would be really cool.
Could have a special effect.. you fight him in a rainy setting where the clouds keep passing the sun. When the sun goes down the druid transforms or something like that.

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.
Technically any werewolf would only be a 50% werewolf at most
But erm... I don't think a werewolf is a broad enough character.. I mean you'd give him some fighting skills, maybe some swift dashing around, disease spreading and morphing to human/werewolf form.... and that would be it? What kind of skills would he have other than that? Also, why would he be helping the forces of good? Aren't werewolves basically half-demons, and the human half has no control over what they do when they're in werewolf form? And they can only transform during a full moon (e.g. not at will). Lastly, I don't think we need another melee class right now.
Exactly. In Diablo 2 you could get around with using just a few skills, mostly just using your basic attack. In LoD, you had to use a wider variety of skills, but it was still mostly just point and click; the game interface didn't really support using more than a few skills at once, anyways. I mean, you could always have up to something like sixteen skills saved at once, but you always had to swap them out, as all actions in game were performed by the left and right mouse button. That kind of a hack and slash fully supports the use of a werewolf that just runs around hitting things with a basic attack, but Diablo 3 is completely different.
Diablo 3 seems to encourage use of multiple spells and abilities, and now you have a skill hotbar similar to WoW. Strategic use of a wide variety of skills would be necessary, and I just can't think of several dozen different abilities that you could use in werewolf form, and the set of abilities, spells, etc. would have to be completely different from those used when not in werewolf form.
And, of course, not to mention the fact that one has no control over their own actions as a werewolf, or so I've heard...
lol not duriels mother-in-law, hell if youve seen one bug youve seen em all, what about the cross-dressing buthcer? Then it isnt a vagina monster, its "Ah... Fresh cock!"
I don't think that the Diablo world is ready for 100% demonic heroes yet
A special demon race got kicked out of hell for some reason, they lived for many years in sanctuary in places no man ever stepped. Somehow they got a little peaceful and they decided to help the human race against the forces of hell. These demons are experts in shape shifting and dark magic.
There you go, you got yourself one of the classes for the D3 expansion ^^
I still think it's far too close to the druid, though.
I would rather see a vampire.
Story: Vampires once roamed the world as humans did, with the exception that they required the consumption of blood (animal preferably), with extraordinary powers and skills, until the forces of evil corrupted them. However, one of the (now corrupted) vampires seemed to find asylum as he/she has become self-aware, and if female, was pregnant, or if male, conceived a son, and created a new race of vampires, no longer corrupted, but at the same time not the people they once were - a perverted sense of the original vampires, but not to the extent of the corrupted vampires.

I dont think vampires or werewolves would wrok personally. I just think the way a vampire is made, spreading the disease through bute (and the werewolf too actually) is a little off for corruption when the deons are like the master corruptors. I dont think there idea would work well, and there wouldnt be enough skills really, as the druid, only one of 3 areas of skills pertained to transformation, and even that was only half wolf. As for th vampire, im seeing another heavy melee class, because what do we know about them? Superhuman, superstrength, superspeed. Thats a class full of phytsical buffs, extra buffs for its energy source and speed (stamina) and then a page of in my opinion, not well done "mainstreem vampire" skills.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

Im not entirely sure, Never fooled aorund with the assassin, wasnt my personal slice of the cake. But even if it was, thats reguarless because the Assassin isnt in the original release of D3, expansions I donth think will matter, they want to release the Necor in an expansion, and thats like the WD, but still, I dont agree with the vamp or think it can be done rihgt.

very good!!! couldn't have put it better myself you get 2 thumbs up:thumbsup:
Shape-shifting is derived from the conservative study of nature in Sanctuary, as per the Druids. I really doubt any demon would be anything close to competent in it, especially since Druid teachings are left to Druids alone. Demons come from the world of ultimate death, not a place for studying Shape Shifting.
WELLLLLL, wouldn't you consider the Druid as such?
The Druids were a race of humans. They had the power to Shape Shift into Werewolves.
I'm mostly against any form of "angelic" or "demonic" playable character since they're so commonplace in video games this days, but I'm open to other ideas. Don't mean to say, "Hey, that's stupid!" The conversation is welcome
i'm saying a 100% werewolf will be cool.
The werewolf you imply isn't human any longer. He'd shift the focus away from what the Diablo series has established.
Would be really cool.

However, I could imagine that the auras, if they have auras, would be VERY different from a monk and a vampire.
Don't you guys think that Vampire is sort of similar to Assassin from D2?
RAGE RAGE RAEEGGEGEGGG sounds good to me, though I find that too similar to the above.
Or, maybe not, it's been a while since I played D2.
Uhhm.
Yeaah.
