A sort of mix between Assassin and Amazon, but not quite. This character is all about agility and dexterity. (By the way, there are male gypsies , not just females). His/Her skills sets include Projectiles (this includes bow, crossbows and throwing knives), Charms and Enchantments, and Dances (maybe a better name could be dubbed).
Projectiles (throwing knives, bow and arrow, crossbow)
1. Firecracker: fires multiple immolation arrow/knives in the sky that comes crashing down (area of effect).
Charms and Enchantments (While charms effect enemies, enchantments edify teammates and self)
Dances (close combat abilities)
1. Dance of Mirage: increases dodge percentile (passive)
2. Dance of Reflection: increases chance of strike-back when striked upon. (passive)
3. Dance of Swiftness: increases attack speed (passive)
*not a finished idea. But we need a projectile type character. And rogue just sounds boring.
Hmmm- sounded a bit mental when I first read it But on second thought- it's almost a valid approach considering the route they've taken with the Wizard being a young rebellious type of caster.
Though I really hope they don't call them gypsies hehe.

I would have to say I see a ranger (only because they won't call it hunter) as the ranged class coming. Dexterity based, ranged character, but maybe also proficient with light style swords or something. With the amount of influence the Wizard seems to have from D and D, it wouldn't surprise me to see a ranger able to dual wield small blades or something.
Trees would be something like:
1. Combat - tricky dexterity combat based maneuvers and maybe dual wield talents
2. Traps or some variety like that?
3. Ranged abilities
It also wouldn't surprise me to see rangers be the characters who get some type of aura style abilities.
Lol, I can see how it could be weird. Mmm, i thought of it more as a freakin sexy gypsy. haha, jk. Sort of like the gypsy in Hunchback of Nortre Dame (the disney movie). Kind of an erotic look. Like, middle eastern-ish
I like it, although I would say that gypsy is the culture it's built on, not the class name. Given the skillset you've given this one, bard or thief might work well for this, or vagabond. Add songs to the dancing tree and you'd have a complete bard. Either way we're looking at a subtle class, a support class, and possible a ranged class. I like it.
Gypsy? Hell NO!
Edit: Gypsies do NOT have culture!
Do you mean that the are not cultured or that they do not have a culture of their own? I think there's plenty of culture that people think they have that could make a backstory.
How about a fortune telling skill? You could tell people how lucky they would be, and give them a higher magic-find rating. (you know the whole gypsy fortune teller cliche...)
ok, to be a bit more serious, i don't think this would really fit into Sanctuary at all. Didn't Diablo 2's sorceress already have gypsy-like qualities to her?

Well I guess Borat won't play now.

Oh, and name the class bard.
