How is that a delay? They don't even have a target quarter let alone a date. They've NEVER had a target date so Diablo 3 has never had a release date...
There's no doubt they've had a target date or two internally, and they certainly have a target date set in early 2012. We just don't know what those target dates are/were.
Not sure, they said 2. I had expected SC2 expansion, WOW expansion and D3. Not sure whats up.
Someone asked about feedback for the D3 beta, and all was good, people were playing the content multiple times and feedback on the AH was good. He said the most asked question was how to get into the beta lol, which he replied, Very difficult to do.
I think from that conference call, we might not be getting HOTS until 2013.... They said 2 big releases and we know (hope) its going to be D3 and likely WOW. I hope HOTS is progressing well. It seemed they had most of the multiplayer stuff ironed out.
They mentioned they have 5 games currently in production at blizzard.
SC2 expansion, D3, Wow-MOP, titan, ???.
Yeah I was wondering about this as well. It may be an unannounced title, but it may also be either the SC2 Legacy of the Void (third expansion) or Blizzard Dota.
The way they talked about Blizzard Dota on the call made me think that they were potentially releasing it as a standalone. Anyone have any info on this? They were talking about looking into various business models for it (after talking a bit 'bout micro-transactions in similar games).

There's no reason to hope Diablo 3 will be out in 2012. No Blizzard game has ever been in beta for a year.
Blizzard games are in beta for about 4-6 months and they've said the same would be done for D3. Starcraft 2's beta lasted about 5 and a half months. D3's beta has only been going for 1 and a half month. So, according to a comparison drawn to the SC2 beta cycle we still have about 3 months left, which would mean a Feb 2012 release.
I know this is only speculation, but I have a good feeling about February, I have even before they announced that the date will be pushed back, and for now I'd stick with my theory.
FYI the two releases for 2012 is Diablo 3 (NO SHIT) and its another Call of Duty game (1 every year). Its not related to the blizz side , its on the activision side

What got me was they said, there would be 2 big releases for them next year. So which 2, D3 and WOW?
D3, WoW: Mists of Pandaria, and SC2: Heart of the Swarm... That's 3.
Unless they're going to announce Titan for immediate release next year.

SC2 most likely has both of it's expansions in development.

Sigh
But seriously though, every part of me crave for the game to be out by end of December, but my mind keeps on telling me not to get my hopes up.
