I think it would be nice to share all the small things you noticed in the gameplay video and other media that really stood out to you and made you
realize exactly how much painstaking detail Blizzard has put into D3. Please list what you have found in a bullet-style format with enough detail
so others can find it without much work, and feel free to comment on others listed detail as well without insulting them for it.
I will start it off:
-Water dripping down the blind statues in the very beginning of the video
-Water reflections on the walls of the chasms in the dungeon
-Barbarians loincloth actually moves according to his movement (I wasn't staring that hard, honest)
-The fact water/falls are not just single objects and actually spray.
-Silhouette of the barbarian running during his dash attack.
-The fiery spirit released after the Witchdoctor bomb attack
-The amazing animations of the Witchdoctors fear and charm spells
-Screen shaking during strong attacks
-Fluid flowing through the health and mana orbs, not just static colors.
-Monsters turning frozen/slowed by ice attacks...they freeze in whatever animation they were in, not just some specified frozen state.
-Monsters are visibly wracked by flame when fire attacks are used against them, dynamically burning.
-Watching each muscle form on the 'Thousand Pounder' when he is created. then watching them all burn away when he dies, and noticing his lungs pulse
for a split second after death.
-The vertical nature of the levels, and how monsters can be knocked into the background.
These are just a few I noticed, please help add to the list so we can all scrutinize the video some more.
- The 3 Virgins (I assume) that are sacrificed to spawn the Thousand Pounder, and also the whole spawn sequence of him also.
- The way Locust Swarm only leaves the bones of monsters it kills.
- The way the wind is blowing around the grass on the ground.

"The certain prospect of death could sweeten every life with a precious and fragrant drop of levity, and now you
strange apothecary souls have turned it into an ill-tasting drop of poison that makes the whole of life repulsive." -Nietzsche
From another thread (what I like):
LEAP! And Smash and Stun and Charge and Whirlwind and Firebomb and Zombie Wall and Zombie Dogs with Locusts and the ghouls climbing upward to get to you and the first boss killing his summoners with the explosion of his summoning and the second boss trampling and eating heroes and berserkers getting their weapons stuck in the ground and the tons of blood and the firy/lightning/cold weapons and the really cool new trap and the health globes and the amazing environments like the bridge over the river and holy shit! everything.

Ranger - Ranged Weapon Mastery (fire a bow or javelins like a machine gun!), Traps (MK style!), Pets (lions, tigers, and bears oh my!) - physical damage based
Demonologist - Bone Spells (Necro style!), Avatar (shapeshift into a demon!), Furies (evil spirits that hang around you, giving party bonuses) - mix of physical damage and magic
LEAP ATTACK!!!!! PLAGUE OF TOADS!!!!!
SLOW TIME!!!!!
The way the electricity arced off of the electric axe. The comments from the throwaway guards who went along with the barb. The gigantic thing moving in the background. Monsters being flung through the air when hit with a powerful attack.
I like how when the barbarian swung his hammer (when he first got it) the curtain near it blew
holy shit I missed that one...nice find.
-When lightning strikes outdoors you can see the flash actually occur in game instead of just thunder in most games
-Crossing the broken bridge outisde you can see a severed statue head in the water...notice water actually breaking on the head and not just passing like it doesnt exist
