So many people these days see $10 CD, they still download it online illegally. I mean, just $10!
Now with a $30 CD? You think ANYBODY actually going to PAY for it?
I guess the MOST crazy Diehard fans would (Who probably would line up 2 days to get Diablo 3 anyway), but don't expect other Big fans like myself who isn't that crazy to do stuff like that, or avid fans paying this much for this, sorry.
I really WANT to get this, but after some thinking, I concluded that despite I really want to get it, it's NOTHING special to warrant over $50, period.
I DON'T care this is orchestra music, it to me is no different than other Artists/Vocal albums I can get for just $10-15! -

Like a Nvidia GT 440 is going to render it just good enough, and a higher end card like 550 or better does it make a big difference?

However, Avatar's HUGE success should help movies like this to have GREAT actors CGIed just like in Avatar.
We know CGI is good enough so it just takes some Ace directors/producers with a Determined mindset to have this movie adapation made! And A lots of Budget!!!

I don't know if qualifies as make the viewer think and don't want to spoil anyone but the Life Tree and Pandorian Animals part in Pandora made me think A LOT after the movie!
Of course, there is creativity how James Cameron conceived these ideas, but pretty sure he is also trying to tell a message with that as well.
Spirituality I think is touched on with these life forms on Pandora that's something that I never seen before in any other movies!
It's NOT a DEEP DEEP movie that has to make you think, but a Semi-deep movie that has themes can make you think if you want.
It's certainly not a no-plot story that some people claim, they don't recognize it doesn't mean it doesn't exist and isn't interesting. It's not stupid like Transformers is. It's probably smarter than MOST blockbuster movies these days.

People in the video game industry will look at say "Oh I can make Mass Effect movie now, I can make Diablo movie now... all thanks to what Avatar/James Cameron did to pave the way... it's not impossible anymore to make believable CG characters that act real!"

And IMAX = Always the Bigger is Better concept
Like you would see pores on these CG Navi's face better

The 'Game changer' hype with the movie Is the 3D and IMAX technology that makes this movie much much immersive experience than Vs seeing it on just a 2D screen.
The 3D with this movie is light years better than 3D of other previous movies, and IMAX is of course the "Bigger is Better" concept with these kind of FX/Action-driving Dramas... like having a 56-inch TV at home to play your favorite games vs just a 17-inch monitor.

I've SEEN the movie, amoung many other regular average people also seen it, and we all believe the movie to be a Masterpiece (Best movie of the decade-ish) if not one of the BEST movies of the year! In fact, VERY FEW say it's not.
The movie has the BEST CG ever with actors giving Oscar-worthy performances especially in actress Zoe Saldana!
You tell me after seeing this movie, you wouldn't mind her character (Neytiri) to be your girlfriend... she is totally cute and believable in a CG character, that's a hard feat with CG!
To me, it's totally ridiculous/absurd to bash a movie like you are an expert, that you haven't even seen.

Most people thought it was better than they expected, except for those who thought the movie was gonna be awesome anyway, but the movie did not disappoint them either. It's just as good as they expected, with some people reporting the movie exceeding their expectation after they already have HIGH expectation in the first place.
Which seems to be a trend with THIS movie everywhere.
What does that tell you? People tend to LOVE to prejudge stuff before they get to know/see them!
See it, then judge!
With 80%+ of critics raving about this movie, and you gamers dissing the movie (and Have NOT even seen the movie) is just not going to be taken seriously by any Serious movie fans!
