I'd like to see blizzard use gold in a way that encourages players to want to obtain it so the economy doesn't use rare items as currency. I hated that about Diablo 2.
BLASPHEMY!
The Rare Item's used as main trade and currency made you need to search for items and REALLY want and need them, that was one of the most awesome parts of the game!
Gold is just for random things like potions and identifying.
Do you think Gold would be worth much compared to a badass weapon if the world was being torn apart by heaven and hell!?

NO!
I see your point but that forced us to create MF characters if we wanted to stay up there with the best of them.
or they could just remove magic find which wouldn't bother me one bit.
- Town Portal Book:
No book of town portal. Its annoying to repurchase the scrolls, and takes up space in my inventory. Lets bring it back as a skill that every class has, same as it was in the original Diablo, Diablo 1.
- I enjoy that part, everyone wants things to be to simple these days.
- Identifying Items:
Same as above for identifying items. If Deckard Cain doesnt provide free id's as he did in Diablo 2, then they should make this a skill, one that every class possesses.
- I enjoy the scrolls system in the game, it keeps you on your toes.
- Bigger > endless stash:
Diablo 2 stash was too small for a game based on questing, and collecting cool items. The least they could do is make it a lot bigger.
- Whats the point with an endless stash? there should be a reason to go back in town, relax abit and stuff like that, and with a limited stash it also puts the bag part into the game, if you noticed from the 20min gameplay video there was an item called "small bag" or "medium bag" if im not mistaken, which means we will have bags in the game which can be upgraded.
- Individual Transfering:
They should give you an option to click a "Transfering" checkbox when creating a game. It would allow the player to immediately transfer items in-between characters, and would allow only that cd-key to access the particular "Transfering" game. If a player wanted to transfer with a friend, give freind items, and so on; he could still do so by creating a normal password game..
- I agree there should be a way to transfer items betwen characters, maybe there should be some form of housing in the game, an own lobby which let you enter a house with a specific password or something similar, but an electronic mail with the items kinda ruins the mood.
- Mercenaries:
If merc's are still in, I would really like it if they made them fully equipable (ie. Amulet, ring, gloves, boots, armor, helm...)..
- i totaly agree.
- Mercenarie Items:
If there indeed are Merc's, I would like it if they made certain loot that falls out "mercenarie loot". The player wouldn't be able to equip this loot himself, only use it on his Merc. This would introduce a whole other element to the game. Imagine having to look for, or trading for godly Mercenarie loot...
- cool idea
- Runes, Rune words:
High runes shouldn't be so difficult to find, not easy either. Find a happy medium. This would encourage people to look for their runes, and not dupe, purchase duped runes.. Plus, runes should play an even bigger role in Diablo 3. More runewords would be a nice addition.
- I think it was just right in diablo 2 LOD, some of the best words created some awsome items that should be rare.
- Gambling for Items:
Would be nice if you could gamble for unique items, but the odds of actually getting one should be astronomical.
- agreed.

They should give you an option to click a "Transfering" checkbox when creating a game. It would allow the player to immediately transfer items in-between characters, and would allow only that cd-key to access the particular "Transfering" game. If a player wanted to transfer with a friend, give freind items, and so on; he could still do so by creating a normal password game..
.
I really like this idea and agree whole-heartedly. Transfering items is ALWAYS risky when you play alone, and it gets tough because if you're MFing, and you have all those items, you have to transfer often.
I'm not sure, but is it possible for them to create a mailing system like most MMO's do? It's a different style of game, so I'm not sure if that's possible.

town portals I dont mind, but in truth if you can simply identify all your items standing where you are then it defeats the purpose of needing to identify. I think it was fine identifying items that were potentially useful then when your inv fills up going back to cain to id and sell
What id like to see is : PVP Arena. For team vs team or for dueling purposes

I wanna see cloaks added to the game, this could be done easily with the Havoks rendering systems.
I personally loved the necro the ability to summon undead corpses and revive stuff with triple health was awesome.
I'm not saying that the wiitch doctor isnt awesome to cuz i love the way they designed it
i dont see why its getting all that hate.
Bring Necro back.
He 's leading in the class poll.

You have the Witch Docotr, so stop complaining. Some of the old classes probably won't make it back in any form what so ever. At least you have something.
I look forward towards new stuff as well. Though I would like a class similar to Sorceress to come through. Maybe a Sorcerer?

Lace me with the words of destruction and I'll explode, but supply me with the will to survive and watch the world grow.
ppl who are retarded fear change cus they cant handle it. either you change with the times or change will force u to.
*facepalm*
WTF... its a video game dude.... I dont think keeping a popular class is going to kill anyone. The Barbarian stayed does that meen blizz devs are retarded cause they fear change? Annyywaay... If the barbarian was good enough to keep the necromancer I would think (as long with sorceress and paladin) would stay too cause of popular demand.
EDIT: And would people say "stop complaining". He wasnt even complaining-just asking a question.. sheesh... so people want the necromancer back is it going to kill you if he does come back? And the witch doctor could replace the druid and the necro could stay. Just a thought.
I care less about the necro than all other characters. I feel that they will be in the game in some way. They are a big part of the history of Diablo. Whether or not we get a playable necro or not, I hope not, remains to be seen.

The blind mind's eye replies with a sigh and a tear of contempt for those who see the world as it truly is.
The necromancer is one of the coolest characters blizzard has ever made, they also played and important part in the diablo lore, so i hope they bring him back!:necro::thumbsup:
The only reason the necro is so popular right now is pretty simple, he's gone and people want what they can't have. While I personally had 3x99 necro's on bnet back in the day it is very refreshing to see the witch doc.
I think they've done great things with what they've shown of the WD and of course people will be upset the necro is gone, but I think in the long run it'll turn out better. They said in that panel video that the necro didn't really need any improvements to something a long the lines ie : he was a very very well built class that's quite hard to addon to and innovate with as a single class in D3. That's my inerpertation of it, they definatly would've changed the necro if he came back and he wouldn't be the same old necro everyone fell in love with. Remember that.

no merc equip, no expanded merc equipment slots.
if you want someone to play with go make some friends or play witchdoctor.

an identify skill would make it completely idiotic for items to drop in an unidentified state.
if you're going to have that skill you might as well have items drop pre-identified. (silverwyrm you beat me to it)
also....
EQUINOX!!!
i saw in your sig you're a fan of Nox PvP! I used to LOVE that game are there any servers still running?
i was 4th rank warrior on ladder at one point and a friend of mine was 1st ranked con named darky
MF characters were part of the fun IMO, I liked it very much, great way to pass time and get sweet items!
I say MF would have to stay, was a HUGE part of D2 and LOD
