Hiya there.... welcome to the forums COWBOY
That reminds me of when I was visiting some relatives in New England and a (completely serious)cousin wanted to know at what age I got my horse. Because you know, everyone in the Dallas area wear gallon hats and ride horses around.
That and how many people I talked to out of Texas didn't realize how very silly the X-Files movie was when it showed Dallas in the background of some desert where kids were digging as if it were a typical recreational activity in Texas. Aside from the odd digging thing, there isn't any desert near Dallas, just fields, trees and massive suburbs.
I enjoy the warped impression a lot of people seem to have of Texas.

hahahahahaha. yeah i went to europe a while back, and everyones impression was the same. they were like, so you are a cowboy?!
hahaha.
Texas has two professional football teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans. I always wonder what team people prefer when their state has two teams. I lived in Denver for 24 years so I am a die hard Broncos fan. I was just wondering what team people from texas like. It has nothing to do with being an actual cowboy ridding around on a horse. Trust me, being from Colorado, I get people asking me all the time what it is like to live in the mountains and whether or not we had electricity. and the cowboy thing.
