No but if hes gonna go out of his way to buy it on the 360 he might as well just get it on PC and have a better experience playing the game....still an amazing game on the 360 dont get me wrong but overalll the PC version is better and probably cheaper
How would he be going out of his way? He'd just be going his way. Not out of it. Besides, ask weirdos like Krow who play Half Life 2. He wouldn't play it on his computer until he got all his fancy fuckoff gear.

Whats fancy fuckoff gear? lol
Either way I was just trying to give him a tidbit of advice so he could enjoy a great game in agruably the best way possible.
I just got a Xbox a while back too. First one for me as well.
So far Force Unleashed was pretty fun, the force push/pull system is fun for at least one run through the game.
Fable 2 was a very nice game also, unfortunately there is nothing to really keep you around once you beat the game. Maxing out skills etc is fun. Another great game for 1-2 play throughs though as things change depending on choices you make.
The game I have been enjoying the most though, that I still haven't quite beaten yet is Grand Theft Auto IV.
Now in the past I had played the other GTA games but I didn't find them near as good or the story near as enthralling. The previous games to me were fun until I ran out of ways to kill people. This one I actually keep playing for the story.
Here's a few games I'm looking at buying/looking forward to.
Mass Effect - Siaynoq seems to like it, and it's a RPG so~ Prince of Persia (The newest one) - It's been getting pretty decent ratings so I might as well try it. Devil May Cry 4 - Haven't played this series since part 2 but it was always fun on Playstation and is a nice combination of story and action. Fallout 3 - Looks pretty fun, and something different to try. Singularity - Game informer this month covered this upcoming game, looks very interesting, hand held time control devices, strange creatures, and communists, what more could you want? Not just your average FPS (I hate boring everyday FPS with a passion)
try assassins creed- really fun game. also it takes some time to beat if you mess around on it.(its fun killing random people and then seeing everybody run away.
i heard mass effect is fun. never played it tho so i have no personal experience on it.
try left4dead my friends play it constantly and say its really fun.

I still can't decide whether I like that game or not. And you really need people you know to play with or you'll have a horrible multiplayer experience.

Yeah left 4 dead is only really worth it in multiplayer. Single player offline experience leaves a me wanting a lot.
It's pretty tough, but challenging in a good way. But this is where you so need to play with friends or at least have a team that really communicates. I mean, in Halo your team can pretty much go off and do whatever, even in an objective and you might fare out okay.
But Left 4 Dead, especially if you are the zombies, you have got to have a plan. Being the Zombies makes you really vulnerable but if you use your special abilities just right and coordinate them with your teammate's other abilities, you can like have your Boomer throwing up on people, right then you want your Smoker incapacitate on opponent, while the Hunter pins another, and so on. But the timing has to be pretty good. I have yet to play a really excellent game of it where there is a lot of team effort, but Warlord and I have done some together and even though I kind of suck at it, it's still pretty fun.

Yeah I played on my buddies 360n and I gotta agree coordination is a big factor if you want success...but damm what a fun fucking game...and such a simple concept
FAAAAAAAR better on the PC....plus you can run mods with it....and if your rig blows its not an issue cuz source runs well on even low end PCs and can still look decent
I tried running Portal on my computer... Whenever I even looked at the portal I made, the game froze... (I need a new comp. Lol.)

Yea, my boss was telling me that GTA4 is a kickass game, and online too.

Not quite as fun as Team Fortress 2 though. Matchmaking is pretty slow in both however.
TF2 is on the 360???
SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gears of War 2, only reason I bought a XBOX 360, but make sure you have a good connection otherwise the multiplayer will lag.
I'm thinking about getting GoW2. Not sure yet though...
But yea, as the list stands, its:
1 Assassins Creed 1.5 Resident Evil 5
2 Force Unleashed
3 Army of TWO
4 Prince of Persia (Tied with Fable anb Orange Box.)
5 Fable (Tied with Orange Box and Prince of Persia.)
6 Orange Box (Tied with Prince of Persia and Fable.)
7 Team Fortress 2
8 Grand Theft Auto
9 Guitar Hero/Rock Band
(And theres a shooter game my boss likes that I'll probably get so I can play with him. Lol.)
In that order, for the begining games, though I know I can't get all of those right away. Lol.
(Also, are there any Legend of Zelda-esque games? And isn't Final Fantasy on the 360? And are there any WoW type games?)

Damn, the 360 has alot of good games...
A make sure you get an Xbox vision cam....
Some games use video chat online (Command and Conquer, UNO) and there are a few other I can't quite recall....
Nothing beats seeing the look on your opponents face as you crush him.
-Note: These cam's get abused very frequently... not for the faint of heart.
Yea...
Not getting that...
