I've seen double rainbows before. I thought they were pretty common, if only you look hard enough. But I have never seen a rainbow as intense as that one before! Its as if someone upped the saturation in photoshop, causing the colours to be so saturated that they seperate into their red/yellow/blue (primary colour) shades. Obviously its real though because the rest of the picture is normal and the top of the rainbow is normal too.
Hmm, kinda weird how the colours are inverted on the two rainbows. And why is one side of the rainbow brighter than the other?
ya, our whole team wore them this year. Well, all the sprinters did. It was definitely the year of the shades .If I had beaten the guy in purple (winter springs orlando I believe) I could have went to the regional meet. Oh well. Can't say if's and shoulda coulda woulda.

I was a distance guy in High School. 4x800m relay, 1mile, and 2mile all the way. What events did you run?
The 100,200, 4x1.
Thats rare to see somebody hit all of those distance events. The 800 and 2mile are universes apart with the 800 being practically a sprint and the 2 mile being a dreary, agonizing death that never seems to come to an end.
Didn't point this out earlier. All 3 of us have the same shoes!!

I don't why they were inverted, I think it was intense because unlike in areas with higher humidity their is nothing stopping the sun from piercing down. If you have ever flown into an air port in a area with average or high humidity you will notice their are layers of mist in the sky you fly through as you descend, they really take the edge of the sun off on the ground.
In the desert their is nothing stopping the sun, and so it is brighter and hits you harder, not friendly to the skin. There were a few holes in the clouds and that set off the huge intense rainbow that covered the valley.
Holy crap apples, looks like ur gonna have an easy life financially.

Hmm... Maybe the second one is a reflection of the first and not another separate rainbow spawned from the same atmospheric conditions
:O...
Sort of. A rainbow always spawns in pars, with the colors of one being inverted. However you do not actually always see the other one, because it may be fainter or beyond the horizon, if I remember right.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
anyways, its just the culture that we tend to stay close.
Now I'm even more confused. You say it's the culture that you tend to stay close. And getting a brand new fancy car is a part of staying close? I'm on the verge of bashing cultural relativism here.

yeah. we stay close, whats not to understand? usually in western culture when you move out, you move out out out out...and visit sparingly. most of my relatives in China live within a 5 mile radius of each other and help each other out; spread the wealth you can say.
just the way we asians are brought up we work hard for each other
btw, im not disagreeing with anyone...no need to lose sleep over it

Remember the String of Ears
"to the worm in horseradish, the world is horseradish."
What's not to understand for me is how that all got you that car. I mean, you don't have to explain yourself to me. I'm just curious about it is all. You don't even have to say it's a culture thing. You can just tell me you got it cause your parents are rich and that's all I'd need to hear.
But in my culture, when someone is given something really nice that we didn't for ourselves, we are a little embarrassed about it and try to keep a low profile cause we know that everyone else knows that we didn't work for such a thing and we're afraid of what they think of us.
Seriously though, you can tell me it's none of my business and I'll stop bugging you about it.
its an asian thing, dun worry bout it.

If being Asian means getting a Maserati, I'd gladly give up my Arab origin.
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
