Where do bad folks go when they die? They don't go to heaven where the angels fly... They go to a lake of fire and fry.
See them again til' the forth of July!
Happy Fourth of July brethren, sister-en, and all other people
Can't wait for today. We're having a cook out at our house and my older brother's the chef- my God, he makes the best food. Him and his fianc?e. And we're opening our pool today!
All of that, however, pales significantly in light of the fact that I love my computer, however.
Ah 4th of July cook out. Almost better than Armistice Day's sex orgy. We're probably gonna have burgers and corn on the cob and lots of watermelon. Then tonight I'm gonna go hiking up to the basin and watch all the fireworks from there.
You guys DO know that America's independence day isn't actually on the 4th of July, right?
America can say it was on w/e day they want it to be lol.

Seems like all of America thinks Independence day is about fireworks, not liberty.
You mean there's a difference?

On July 4th, I celebrate Independence Day, not the date.
Seems like all of America thinks Independence day is about fireworks, not liberty.
Very well.
I'm thankful for my dad, who served for four years in the Navy with maintenance on nuclear submarines. Thanks to the work on his behalf, the sacrifice, the oceans surrounding our country were made a little safer. Thanks to that, he now has the fortuitous job he does now and can supply for our family in a way we probably don't deserve. Thanks to that, he met my mother and had all four of us. Thanks to that, I'm here today.
I'm grateful for my Great Grandfather's sacrifice in training and finally emission out in to war for D-Day, which he thankfully survived, and after which, well, after the whole affair, anyway, became a fisherman and had the grandparents on my father's side.
I'm thankful and celebratory of the sacrifices and hard work of everyone, military and non-military alike, that battled, at the sword, gunpoint, and the halls and institutions of our country to maintain and work for the dream of the founders in ways they probably wouldn't have foreseen. I'm thankful and celebratory of the scores of people who even sacrificed to their deaths, not because they did die, but because their deaths meant something and had power.
And, of course, I'm thankful for the independence we achieved over two hundred years ago, by documentation written in a city nearly an hour away from my town here, that went straight to monarchy and then to war, and then to a sublimely fortunate founding of the state of the US as its own being.
The Fourth of July, however, is just a synonym for Independence Day, so I don't see what the issue is. I guess a sense of purpose is lost in the former in nomenclature, if that's what you mean, but they are the same thing.
AMERICA FUCK YEAH!
We'll have fun hard at work for you to take the day off since we took the 1st.
See them again til' the forth of July!
So what did you actually do on Independence day?
