1. Ocarina of Time
2. Majora's Mask
3. Twillight Princess
4. Windwaker
The problem with Windwaker was that you could never feel epic, you were stuck in a boat half the game, and the portion where you had to get the 8 triforce pieces was brutal because you had to pay Tingle a ton of rupees to do anything. Those 3 things pissed me off.
The fire and smoke affects in Wind Waker were wicked.
But Ocarina of Time gets nod, because it's amazing and because I'm playing through it again on emulators on the school computers. My goal is not to get good grades, it's to beat Ocarina of Time to a 100% before the end of the school year (I'm on fire temple so far) and beat Majora's Mask to 100%. (Aren't I a great student? D=)

Oh my god, I played the Ocarina of time once, an hour to an hour and a half a day. Beat it while barely trying.
how are the options unfair? I didn't put OoT up there because it would OBVIOUSLY win, and i wanted to include it, while still seeing how people felt about the other three. And btw, as i said before, i don't consider PH to be a true 3D game...i should have said 3D playing games and on consoles then lol.

What does 3D mean to you?
Last time I checked it had to have 3 dimensions. A base, height and width(lol). The PH has those don't it? *shrugs*

Three dimensional world. As in, you can look around. You arn't forced to look in one direction. LoZ and LttP force you to look down, AoL force you to look from the side. TOoT allows you to look anywhere.
i guess i dont completely get it, but it plays like a 2D zelda. It is like saying that diablo 3 could fit into games like WoW and hellgate...when it doesnt because it is playes isometric and just has 3D graphics. That is how i am categorizing these games.
why isn't zelda link to the past for super nintendo on the list ><
that was my fav

serving only to ensure absolute vulnerability to the pain of their inevitable absence.
LoZ: LttP was not a 3D game in any way. My thread is specific to 3D zeldas (3D playing that is), and if i was to include every zelda game it would be way too long : P.

Edit-
Just realized this says "3D". I'm going with Link on this, and most other posters here. Ocarina of Time ftw.
my religion.....
Anyway, my favorite part of Wind Waker was the part where the tree dudes played the music...

I THINK that's what he's meaning.
Anyway, we are starting to get off topic. *Pushes thread back onto the topic rails.*
Ocarina of Time was the first 3d game I played where you could go -anywhere-. It was AMAZING...

(They arn't considered Cannon, but they are using Zelda characters in the Zelda universe etc....)
