No, didn't I say that I was talking about horses in particular? Horses suck. There were no bugs or problems with anything else. Which is kind of strange.
It does appear to be horrible. The only good experience I've had with mounts is in WoW. Just for transportation, you summon it whenever you need it and dismount without losing it, they can turn on a quarter and come in more variations than just plain boring horses
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Walking didn't suck. Unless you're just upset that you can't go as insanely fast as in Morrowind.
I liked walking in Oblivion. The scenery was great, and harvesting plants etc was just a right-click away. Fast and efficient. And you could always travel, right? Or was that anothr game?

Travelling was vastly improved in Oblivion. In the previous Elder Scrolls, you had to rely and a Mark and Recall spell that only worked on a single location. That and you'd have to use Mage Guild teleporters, Silt Striders, and boats to go to different locations automatically. But in Oblivion, as long as you had reached that location manually, you could fast travel there.
I think fast travel is one of the things that destroyed Oblivion as an adventure game. And there is no alternative. I felt that Oblivion was very unbalanced in the details, which is the reason why it failed to be a good game for me.

Personally, I enjoyed it a lot. But I never felt as personally vested in it as I was in Morrowind. Oblivion had a very topical, light-hearted feel to it. Morrowind felt more serious and gloomy. And I like my games more like that.
