I just looked up the 2009 blizzcon schedule and there was 3 hours diablo related. WTF lol.... Bashiok made it sounds like this was the blizzcon to be a diablo fan....
well if you look...really if it ant diablo its really nothing there its tournys and everything else i just think they will give 3 hours of stright content news how the systems work things like that...i think they want to give one big bang and see how we like it and that whole rating news come on its gotta be june 28 2011(its s tues when all new games come out usally)
3 hours, and 1 of those hours will be about crafting which we already know about. 1 hour of Q&A. 1 hour of gameplay.
I duno about this guys, bashiok really got my hopes up that this was supposed to be a big blizzcon for D3 saying it was the most D3 info packed blizzcon on the b.net forums to date. Then he goes and makes a statement on the forums saying pretty much the opposite.
What a failure. Damn I hate that guy I really do.
My expectations just fell. And why the hell is Sc2 getting what is it, 6 panels or something? What the hell?
Note: I didn't read the entire thread so I don't know if this has already been stated.
Starcraft II a game that has already been released is getting DOUBLE the time that Diablo III is getting.
I realize that Bashiok said this is the same amount of time that Diablo III got in previous blizzcon's, but doesn't this seem a little well....stupid?
Guess you can see where Blizzard's priorities are, WOW, and SC2.
Bashiok already talked about this in a post on the official forums.

Well, what can I say. World of Warcraft is huge. You can't really compare anything to it, the vast majority of people that go to BlizzCon are hardcore WoW players. We'd be silly to not cater the events and time spent on them to the people paying to attend and their primary interests.
StarCraft II, yeah, they have a lot of panels this year. Last year they had three. They just shipped a game and I think have the time to devote to creating more of them.
Again, the number of panels has nothing to do with the amount or quality of info released.
i don't really think the size of the Diablo III panels will be relevant with the quality (and quantity) of the information we're going to get this year.
I feel bad for the fans that bought plane tickets and Blizzcon tickets thinking this year would be Diablo's time to shine, like they said it would be. Because even if it has 3hours of intense news.. it still doesn't compare to WoW and SC2's time, which means Diablo isn't really their main priority once again. It better be fucking sweet news, or not even death will save them from me.

I don't know, like I said earlier paying money to sit there in person as people talk about stuff that is gonna be put on the internet for free just seems stupid. When I went it was purely to play D3 and SC2, which im pretty confident this year will beat last years with just the demo alone. (Could it kill them to give us an actual cool boss fight like King leoric or something last year? Instead of me wandering around in a desert 10000x)
i rekon they said its gonna be big due to the fact that some kind of release date is coming out or even a beta date. otherwise they wouldnt just get our hopes up like that... but who knows maybe they would maybe they wouldnt....

Diablo III: Crafting Sanctuary
Saturday 10:30am, Developer Panel Stage
The designers, artists, programmers, and writers share new information on the characters, creatures, game systems, and story of Diablo III.
So it's not just about crafting. Still, it's a limited amount of time to cover new stuff. Let's hope the interviews also have exclusive information.

And really, if you can't cover everything important in 3 hours there is something wrong.
I'll be pulling for the new class announcement during the show like everyone else.
