Assassin's Creed's graphics are one of... if not the best graphics I've seen in any action-advanture game (maybe the new Prince of Persia which uses the same engine will have better graphics, but it's not even out yet) . You're absolutely right, gamma, the style of art in AC really fits the concpet of the game.
As for Diablo 3 having THAT level of graphics - forget it it's not even an option. If it did have that level of detail (which is really unnecessary with the isomatric view) we would all probably need a pretty strong computer... because it takes alot more to have hordes of demons swinging and jumping than just having peasants walking in town... and blizzard wants everyone to be able to play (Not that I care... I have a strong computer) but you get the point.
As for Diablo 3 having that kind of art style - AC is a pretty bright game. It lacks color more than diablo and you got realistic dusty atmosphere all the time, BUT it's bright... maybe except in the town of Acre which could definitely fit somewhere in Diablo 3... but in general, the art style wouldn't fit.
It is always a thrill to hear what the dev team has to say about the upcoming game and how it vs. its predecessor. Thanks for the post MD... you too Zoltrix! And thank all you guys for keeping us li'l ol' fans enlightened and amused.
Yeah it was cool and it seems to have brought back some faith in the community. I hope next time they'll talk more about the lore and how it started for Diablo somewhat like they did in episode 2 with SC. I'm curious about how it all started, space vampires anyone?

IDK, I petition that we should make a petition asking the petition-kiddies to make a petition apologizing for writing the petition
