Yes, there was something about that somewhere in one of the posts on this site, I remember reading something like they haven't decided yet and they may make pay-to-play for certain regions or something like that. Good luck finding it on here, though, hehe.
And on the payment thing, it would be nice if they'd let you have like a month fre (which I think they do in WoW, your first month or something, or atleast that was availible in the new SC Battle Chest) and then you only had to pay like 100 bucks for life time play, like LOTR online. Even though it looks monstrous upfront, it would save you a ton in the end, and it would be less of a hassle, because you wouldn't have to keep paying over and over again.
Or they could not charge a fee at all. If they do, I suppose you could always write your local congressman. That always make a difference.

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.

Lol, yes, because we all know our local government is so efficient. And yes, free would be nice, but I'm very skeptical about it. With a massive increase in graphics and if the game became very popular, they'd need money to maintain their servers.
Hmm...Never noticed that before, last time I checked it was a bunch of foreign letters or something, but that was months ago. Strange that it goes directly to the Arreat Summit... GASP! Maybe Blizzard didn't buy out our site, maybe they're just remodeling the Arreat Summit, since they already own it
Except that he is usually the one who announces most of it to us.
And Spaz., flaming someone and then posting "Have fun :)" at the end does not make it a friendly or non-flaming post, please don't do that, he wasn't flaming you, he was just saying that your spelling was messed up. Also, he said nothing about post counts:
Lol. He did fuck his wording up badly didn't he?
I almost said to go make an introduction thread but then checked and realized you've been around longer then me.
Side note: Medieval is kinda worshiped around here so you might get flamed for pointing out errors he says.
I do not see the words "post count" in there anywhere. He was probably basing it on the join date.
I'll admit, Medievaldragon has the upper hand when it comes to smaller things - such as books and daily occurances, but other than new games and annoucements are concerned, he doesn't know much more than we do. We just need to be as ambitious as him to look and dig.
I'm sure he didn't get into the position he is in by sitting on his ass all day. I do appreciate that he is willing to share his excitement with forums such as this one, and give us all better theories and reasoning behind some of Blizzard's choices.
I don't feel that Medievaldragon is any more aware of groundbreaking Blizzard news than we are ourselves.
That's debatable. I recall posting news that BlizzCast Episode 1 would be released two weeks before it was released. And no CM had posted about it on the forums yet. I talked about Diablo II patch over a month before it was confirmed in a China interview.
I have open contact with the novel writers, and the community managers. You would be surprised how often I communicate with the CMs. My interviews get posted in the front page of the official site. One is going to be posted soon by Public Relations (Epic Weapons' Frostmourne).
By the time I go to WWI, I would have been already staff member of this community -- Umaro contacted me last night. I know when. At WWI I will meet the CMs in person, they wish to. Fansites will have a special dinner meeting with developers. I will have press badge to have internet access from WWI to update live this community site news.
And most importantly, I plan to synchronize with members of this community that are going to WWI, so that I can upload their own images and journals to the front page.

Man, meet the CM's and have dinner with the Devs, now there's going to be some interesting stuff talked about imo.
I do have this "feeling" that something Diablo related will pop up at the WWI. Its just under the surface, but its there!(don't think im crazy, usually im right, even when it comes to whos on the other end of the telephone before i pick it up)
just because you think you're cool and got 1xxx posts doesn't mean people know you and that you know anything, at all.
dedicated diablo people usually know who I am, on europe especially.. I dont know why that matters anyways...
also; I dont know where you're from but where I'm from we tolerate some minor bulling against eachother and also sarcasm is a commonly used thing. I think you misunderstood my post. and on top of that everyone has they're own opinion so why flame them for it?
and lastly since I care so much; I know who medieval is, you judging people on postcount is pretty hilarious
I'm sorry if I sound angry or if I offend anyone
Have fun!
That...was uncalled for... Maybe you need to read my posts before replying?
(Side note: I've been playing for years and have never heard of you...)

they wouldnt buy the forum... since its using a name they already own... id assume they would just take it...
and mideval how much are tickets if there are any left... lolz
I assumed whoever runs this site legally owns the site. They couldn't just steal it, could they?
It's a delicate issue really.
There was a site that was dedicated to some guy's pet that was named after some wrestler (Can't remember if it was a cat or a dog.) and the WWE (I think that's what them wrestlers are called) wanted the site and went to court over it and lost. Who knows. Maybe Blizzard doesn't have rights, does anyone have any knowledge of past legal cases such as this that could be taken into consideration?
I have a theory, but it is just that. I have a feeling Battle.net 2.0 will continue to be free-gameplay, with a pay-to-play component with extra-features. Think Hellgate: London.
Oh fuck no.
Don't tell me they're going to pull that some bullshit asian companies do, i.e. cash shop shit.
Because if so, they've effectively ruined the online component.
Though, I'm pretty sure HellGate had unlockable areas ... but still ... gay gay.

Edit: Anyone know how long Blizzard has owned diablo3.co.uk? Cus it takes you to the Arreat Summit...

What kind of changes would the Diablo3.com site undergo if/when you become a staff member? Anything major?
