Wow, stop be a little kid rambo. He didn't say the ladder resets were far between, he said that there hasn't been a recent one. The matter of how long it took them to finally make a reset is completely unrelated. The answer is that there was just one last June. And I'm pretty sure resets are two years apart, anyway, except for the very first few.

It's quite funny, it's been a bit less than a year since ladder was reset and it's dead already.
You can thank e-bay, d2lewt.com, and various other sites that sell game items to people with little to no gaming skill and thus making them immortal for that.

Well items aren't allowed to be sold on ebay anymore, so I guess it's just the gaming stores. But it's not even that which mainly killed ladder...It was the baal bots, mf'ing bots and dupers. I had a fully equiped druid with lifers, enigma, 2/20 ammy and everything within the first month. There's something wrong when I can have that all before the first month is finished. That's without buying items btw.
Eh, well, I don't personally buy stuff off the net, so I'm not really up to date on these things (stuff in general, not just talking about game items.) Yeah, the bots pretty much ruined the leveling aspect. Being able to buy items right after a ladder reset, however, ruins the "everyone starting off equal" thing.

Well, the whole ladder reset was a complete and utter joke...
WHY reset the fing ladder with no fixes to bugs / dupes / bots / hackers...
THERE IS NO FING POINT... and just look what happened, even more people quit, its a damn wasteland now.
Back to Blizzcon, i think this is the year, too many things regarding "Diablo", its "release dates" and ownership changes of domain names eg "www.diablo3.com"
After the WWI in Korea, Blizz showed off SC2 @ Blizzcon later that year. If something is announced at the WWI in Paris, then i will be expecting a detailed demo at Blizzcon in October.
Careful what you say- people have a wonderful tendency of dumbing down your argument and sticking a few "lolz" in, and then saying you're a moron. Not that I'm saying that, because I'm not, but that's generally what happens, it seems, when someone doesn't agree. Except for Goodguy, who actually gave facts to support his side of the argument.

True, but what about all the people recently affected by natural disasters...
THEY HAVE HOPE!!!
Honestly its like goodguy isn't human
And IF, something is announced at the WWI in Paris, then i WILL be expecting a demo at Blizzcon
Just making that point clear...
43 days 35 minutes to go until Blizzard's World Wide Invitational
blizzcon usualy takes place in summer. now, for some reason its pushed into october. and i vote for the announcement on wwi, because if they wanted to announce it on blizzcon, why wouldnt they hold blizzcon on june 29?
It's held in October because Blizzard doesn't want it to be held near the time of other cons.

Nope.
Ebay cannot sell virtual items.
D2 gaming sites item SUCKS. No offense, but if I made my own d2store, I'd make more money.
WOW LOOK IM SELLING ENIGMA .... -_-, got any 45lifers? pcoas?
Why d2 is dead? Because IT HAS LOST IT'S CHARM.
baal-tele-rush-baal-rush-baal-rush.
What's the fun in that?
Look at the d2jspers, they are so rich, normal people cannot play the game anymore
Although Blizz has stated the extra hall is to accommodate more fans, I don't think that is the only reason. They won't just have a big empty hall with lots of extra people standing in it, which means they will be using the hall to display stuff. I reckon that instread of WoW and SC2 overflowing into the third hall it will be used for something else.
Even if the third hall is chockers with this new stuff, provided they have left enough room to squeeze in even a handful of fans then they have accomplished the goal of accommodating more people.

Ah, you weren't getting the impression I was supporting item sites, right?

I'm not 100% sure if that's a compliment or not, but that's how I'm going to take it.

That last question is just plain stupid.

"Hey, Doc. It hurts when I do this."
"Well, then, don't do that."

Yes, accommodate new fans....Diablo fans....:P
