ok i was reading the features on the diablo 3 website and noticed something kinda disturbing.
"Battle the unholy forces of the Burning Hells with all-new character classes such as the otherworldly Witch Doctor, or with re-imagined warriors from Diablo’s past, like the powerful Barbarian."
WARRIORS from Diablo's past . its plural.
its probably nothing, but it makes it sound like there will be another returning class.
i bet blizzard just made a grammatical mistake and that it wasnt the intention. Just wanted to share my find.

"I'd rather chop off my ding-dong than admit that booze ain't food!"
Probably like you said.....just a mistake.....your probably looking way further into then you need to....but who knows blizzard is crafty when it comes to this kinda stuff
"Battle the unholy forces of the Burning Hells with all-new character classeS such as the otherworldly Witch Doctor, or with re-imagined warriorS from Diablo’s past, like the powerful Barbarian."
There are for now two new classes, and most likely there are more returning classes.

lol it can still easily be a ranger since who said you cant shoot arrows at melee distance xD

The Barbarian is from Arreat, a very cold snowy mountain top, but they are much tougher than normal humans, so they don't need warmth.

Where are Barbarians originally from? Sumeria, or more specifically Mesopotamia, AKA Europe. Think the Alps and the Pyrenees
Errr - I don't mean to spoil the fun... But isn't there a direct quote from Blizzard that plainly states that the only returning class with be the Barbarian?

Yeah, there is. They've said it so many times. Lol guys, listen to what they say, not what apparent 'hints' they give.
Nah, it's an error. The first S just says that there will be more than one class existing in diablo 3, the second S is either an error, or just there to say that there are more than One Barbarian.

There's gonna be returning classes in the expansion, I don't see where's the problem?
This is not confirmed. And I hope it doesn't happen. 6 new classes and 1 re-imagined is better than 4 new classes and 3 re-imagined. I'm not in the mood for D2.5 in 3D. I want D3.

Indeed. But remember even tho there not called the sorc and necro this time arouind the witch doctor and wizard are pretty close to the same thing as being re-imagined versions of those classes.

Then all RPG games must be re-imagining all the same classes...
A wise old man once said to me, "Never say what you don't know." This really sticks to me, not because it has anything to do with this topic, it's the next thing he said, "The barbarian will be the only returning class in Diablo 3."
I really hope the bring back the assassin and revamp her to be more of an...you know...ASSASSIN! Not a kicking&slapping whore who throws traps at ppl...
How about I've seen so many typo's from Blizzard in the last month it almost makes my eyes bleed?
Seriously folks, if they said there will be a returning race, the Barbarian instead of a returning class, the Barbarian, at this point, it would NOT surprise me. Somebody get Blizzard a spell check please.
Have they only said that there wont be a returning d2 class? What if they bring back one of the orig diablo characters? I know that some say Blood Raven is the rouge, the Summoner is the sorcerer, and Diablos vessel was the warrior. That doesn't mean they cant return as a class. Maybe not the rouge, because thats a female only class. Probably not the sorcerer for obvious reasons. Maybe a revamped warrior?
The thing is though that i saw somewhere that the barbarian was the only returning class and that blizz didnt want any returning classes at all, but the storyline of diablo 3 forced some sort of barbarian as a character ???

It is also confirmed that there'd be at least one expansion.
