In my opinion, I think now would be a good time to introduce any new characters. After all, we are going to need as many people as possible for this attack. If 3 or more go to the west, that only leaves a few for the main attack.

You know, guys, it really isn't fair of you all to assume that we are going to let someone enter the RP - especially after we have said that the RP is closed and we are not accepting any new members. For future reference, all decisions as to whether another player will be included or not and how they will come into play rests with us.
Now, I'm not saying don't get excited about it, I'm saying don't make statements like this...
We'll find a way to work you in.
I bet we can work turmobil in by making him a prisoner of Riddia who we rescue.
It just makes mine and Elfen's job that much more difficult.
I understand it would increase the difficulty of your task by introducing me to the RP and all of the associated things.
(Sidenote: It might not make a difference but technically, I'm not really "new".
And I'm an experienced roleplayer, both a curse and a gift eyh?)
Edit: Seems awfully quiet around here..
I think after my assumption, and Jetrall stepping in to say that it was not cool, the whole thread kinda has this "daddy hit mommy at the dinner table" feel.
I still check both threads every day, and I'm still waiting for my chance to contribute my character, but it just seems to be moving like molases right now. But, maybe that's more about the speed that these RP's usually go.

lol ya I kinda got that vibe aswell.
Ya the RP has been moving very slowly lately, maybe there is something going on?
I think that a combination of bad timing and unforeseen events are plaguing the RP right now (those being the poor timing and my character dropping out of the picture combined with an unforeseen unability to commit enough time on Elfen's part). We do have a plan to combat this problem, but we still need to iron out a couple details.

For me it's more of a timing issue. I don't like people just randomly turning up. Now if we happened to be in a bar searching for someone who might know something and you happened to be at that same bar, well now, that's different.

That's good. I check both threads almost daily too. You know you could always strike up a dialog between your character and another person's. Looking at the character thread, almost every one of us has the same or similar goal, but how we go about achieving the goal could be very, very different. Or it could the same.
You every opened a mollasses drum without opening the smaller bung to let the build up pressure escape? It comes out pretty damn quick I can assure you.

Yeah, I think we picked an odd week to start, right when Blizz anounces the monk (and other huge bombs). Kind of off set us a few days.
I had some work things around when we started too, I think I passed most of that now, so I should have some more time for this.
I do not like to double post (or worse, triple post) if I can avoid it. But I can do it if I have to, I just prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt, and a chance to keep it rolling themselves.
I was the last to post, we are now on our way to get the disguises for the attack. I was kinda, like I said, giving people a chance to post again, before I double posted.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Wouldn't be medieval fantasy if we didn't go to a bar full of the disgusting scum of society, you know, thugs, drunks, low lifes, whores, slave drivers, illegal pit fights, animal cruelty, gambling and monster or two. A dank pool of base corruption if ever there was one.
Fair standard issue really.

Remember, my character isn't even in this yet. If he was, he'd have plenty to say.
And I agree with the whole timing issue. Between work starting to pick up, school starting for some people, Blizzcon and other conventions, etc, it has been a little distracting.

That's good. We will definitely have to try work you in then.
I'm bored enough to check these threads out every 10 minutes..
I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.

Holy shit you guys, very sorry for that massive leave of absence.
But I'm back now, with shiny new internet.
Finally crawled out of the cesspool that is dial up ^^.
Anywho, reading the story thread atm, hoping I didn't miss much.
Uhh.... so I guess the whole plan of Party_Foul, Donsro and I attacking the western side has been completely thrown out the window? Were people even aware that we had already volunteered for that?

Congrats escapeing from dial up! And yes sadly we were kicked out dry on that one. I'm really not sure what happened there it was like an entire page of the story planning it too. Glad your back though, me and Party_Foul were just goin along with the current plan so feel free to join. =)
Haha, so glad to have finally escaped the clutches of dial up...
And even happier to finally be back into this community ^^.
You never realize how badly you've got the forum addiction till you wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, with Diablo written in shit on your wall.
Oh well, thats all over now.
And yeah... seems everyone just kinda skipped over our volunteering, didn't Elfen even say "Sure, you can do it" before? Stormcat also participated in this pre-planning, oh well.
Anywho! I'm sure we'll still get to do all kinds of badass shit, we'll group up in town and murder Riddians ^^.

Still an option till this one gets passed the "prologue".
I'm still thinking of ways to work you in.

If it did than I will be pissed.

Oh well, Seth's RP is still an option.
I'm still thinking of ways to work you in.
