Uh.... I did. Read the first post in that thread. I specifically say that I worked on it with my friend Hannu.

This image partly based - with permission - on an amazing painting by LordHannu called BloodCape.
This is my simple way of saying I got his permission to work with him on his stuff and take it in one direction (boxart) while he took it another (painting).
"You are like a rose in a great rose field. Each rose is so beautiful to me. But if one dies... I can still look at many other roses..." God of Darkness.
I think later on in the thread I made it clear how it actually went down. Looking back I could be a little more descriptive of the process in the first post... Meh. I wont worry about it. It's buried on page two anyways.
It's retarded how many times you credit another artist with most of the work, yet people think that you created the whole thing with your own bare hands. Happens to every artist I suppose.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

Well, there's only been one time where I've worked with a friend on a project, although I really do wish people would stop thinking I did it all myself. He honestly did the majority of the work on the actual character (he even continued working on it after I was finished my part, adding in a face and stuff like that lol).
I agree with AlphaX, its always hard to tell exactly what an artist should be credited for. Alot of people say 'hey, look at this cool poster I made', but they've just got all different images from google. They should only be credited for the composition, not the actual image artwork.
but i know Jetrall, you paint most of yours in photoshop, right?
Well, I'm moving into photoshop. I used to most of my stuff in Paintshop Pro (only using PS for touch ups and post-work). Now I'm tending to use PS more and more.
I consider this normal "fan art", rather than a "box art". It's a cool angle angle of Diablo, but it won't work for the picture I will be looking at when I go into the store.
1. He needs to be facing forward.
2. The atmosphere isn't really "Diablo".
3. Looks too much like the Diablo 2 box art.

Federer lost Wimbledon. Why? Becase none of you bastards cheered for him...
Well, that was just implied these days. Back then it was a big selling point - not that it wont be nowadays aswell, but it's more likely that people will know ahead of time that it has free online multiplayer.
Also, to Winston and John, please don't spam about Phoenix Wright in the Art section. As for whether or not you liked the D2 Boxart or not, that has nothing to do with whether the atmosphere matches it or not, so your point is, once again, moot.
Thanks for the decent rating though - don't assume from my previous sentence that I'm real nit-picky about what people think of me / my work. I just love semantics.

oops
Also, I've always wondered why the Wanderer on the D2 boxart (and yours) is a Skeleton? Because he wasn't ever a Skeleton lol

You have to admit that he's good.
If it looks like the Diablo 2 box art wouldn't it have the Diablo atmosphere?...
I didn't like the Diablo 2 box art....
