So, i dont know if someone already came up with this idea but here we go!
Why not make rifts more rewarding by "improving" the drop from the "final boss"?
When i say improve i mean: there are 22 different bosses when you finish a rift, right? Why not make them drop a spefic legendary (without change the drop rate)?
If you drop a legendary, IF YOU DROP (not changing the drop rate), from the final boss when you finish the rift, this legendary could be a specific one! So each boss drops an specific legendary depending on which characteryou are using.
This could be a way to MAKE ppl WANT to do rifts because in the end you have a chance to get a TRUE REWARD!:D
I really dont think that "lost souls" are a true reward... for me, you could just make them stop dropping those souls and make them drop specific legs!
I already drop too many useless legs, that means i already have too many souls!
*shrug* I@ve had a rift boss drop 2 legendaries and a forgotten soul from one kill. Rift drop rates do not need buffing. In fact, NONE of the drop rates need buffing people just need to unbunch their panties.
Wouldnt this then make them even less rewarding after you get said items? They've already buffed rift drop rates...get some MF gear and play higher torments if you want rewards
In the end its still random, you can't specifically farm your item.. Unless you mean you want only the rift bosses to drop the item. Then it might be kinda neat.

Awesome, 20th rift today, not one Bone Warlock yet. And then he has to actually DROP the item I want. Woo!
I really don't think rifts need to be more rewarding. As it stands the game has been boiled down to nothing more than finding out how to spend the most time in rifts and the least time doing anything BUT rifts. I don't see how that is beneficial long-term for anyone.
Exactly what legendary would they drop? Ones already in? New ones? If its one already in, it doesn't change too much, as the boss spawn itself is random. Heck, it may even be a nerf- if it will only drop a legendary you already have/not an upgrade, then the only point of doing that boss is for the shards.
As it stands for Rifts themselves, they are TOO rewarding atm, to the point that its the ONLY playstyle atm if you are going for legs. (If your aim is XP or gold, there are alternatives, but for just legs, Rifts are far above and beyond everything else, making the rift-bounty cycle the only cycle you can really use.
The change I'd like to see in Rifts would be for them all to be packed with stupid amounts of mobs and champ/elite packs. I just love those rifts that are so packed you can't spit without hitting a cluster of mean bastards. Then you get those "hollow" rifts which amount to walking walking walking ....
I would like to see the reward nerfed for T1 rifts, and tweaked up a bit for T2, T3, T4 T5 and T6 respectively. I have zero chars that can handle anything above T3, but for people whom can handle it, they should see some extra incentive for braving the uptempo.
I think rifts are rewarding enough. Only change I would like to see is the mob density and mob type in some areas. I hate when I get a group of 3 little spiders every 10 secs or so

I once dropped 2 legendarys too, but it was a loooong time ago, once in life.
