Test method: Run T6 rifts over and over - you will see the efficiency and effectiveness of physical build (more automatic damage and survive-ability)
I should add if you are just looking for a build to single target RGs or Ghom then yes Fire but for T6 Rifts Physical is superior.
If I got enough Souls to convert all 3 items to Physical I'll give it a shot. I'm currently clearing T5 in about ~10min when not trying to rush through.
Fire builds are honestly great for those who havnt gotten to T6 sub 10 yet.. try to get their with a fire build and you need to get lucky with the packs, density, and way to many other things to make fire > phys.. phys turrets are by far the DH end game for anything efficient in T6.
How so unless you're using Guardian Turrets for survival.
Death, you have a sub 10 min T6 run w/ a fire build?.. I have never seen one...
I do not, I'm currently just around 10min for T5 clear in my fire build. I will give Physical a shot as all I'd have to do is reroll the fire dmg on current gear to physical. My gear also still have room for improvement (first and only Rucksack rolled 16% ias and 8.5% crit, no sentry/ms/ca dmg on shoulders/chest/helm, no trifecta RoRG or TnT, and no 10% dmg on Buriza).
all i can say is holy crap u got all that in 4 days? Took me around 30k bloodshards to just get TnT :''( lol
I find that hard to believe unless he played 4 days as in 96 hours. Prob took me at least a couple of weeks if not longer to get what I have and I think his 4-day gear is better than mine.

No joke, I just know how to be beyond efficient with this current patch. Rng loves me, look at all my characters gear. I even have a perfect unity.

yeah RNG totally loves you man, like holy hell even IF I were efficient that wouldn't happen to me lol. But your character has got the gear and goddang is it pretty

Thnx broski, its pretty fun steam rolling t6 without unity.

Practically all my runs, including long 6 level ones are sub-10 minutes as fire (start to killing rift guardian, not including all the stuff after). The last time i recall even getting over 10 minutes as fire was when I was testing calamity (which sucked incredibly terribly). Good (1 floor) rifts are already at around 6-7 minutes, with a few under 6 minutes.
On another note, back when I played physical, with worse gear than I have now, runs were already around the 10 minute mark.
Physical, with the right taskers *might* be better than fire. I can't really test. However, 10 minutes is incredibly easy a fire.
I have 2 dhs. Only char I made dupes of just to test out sentry build for one of them. My orig one is strictly CA build with fire dmg and as much resource cost reduction as possible. Only problem is, I think you rly do ened sentries to do t6. So now I switched whatever mars gear I needed along with my rrog to my new dh and got full set. I finally got bombardiers sack lastnight from kadala. Only thing I need now is TnT to fully maximize my build. I am def going for physical too. I can't wait to see them shoot fast!

Physical is much better with even wiht low TnT rolls than fire - Tested and Confirmed
If it puts you at 1.74+ all you picked up was an additional bolt in the rotation.
I prefer to stick in the 1.46-1.73 attk speed range so my sentrys shoot ca,ms,bolt, multi. Once you go higher than that you just picking up more bolt shots. The pets will go from like .8 to .6 though if your wearing a tnt thats 45% or higher. At 43% tnt you may have only gained .1, not real sure though.
Your build is very strong now so its all knitpicking at this point.
Please post a video of you doing a T6 rift in 5 mins. I would be very interested to see that. And I will also crown you the best DH in the world. No joke I will.
I never noticed how the math worked for ballistics, 100% more damage to rockets making cluster shots secondary proc as physical to hit 3 times at 800% weapon damage just from that passive alone.
My other DH has gg fire gear, but I still prefer physical for sentries even though my gear isn't that great and I have no TnT. I can clear t6 rifts without shrines in 7-10min. (Just timed one with normal density 8min30s) I know it nothing boast about but it seems more efficient for me than using my fire.
Messing around with a cindercoat/vengence build. Its really nice with a pull monk. I can shoot 7ca's that peak at around 85mil and pierce 3times (with ballista), they also drop the little grenades. Goal is to have nuke ability (7x lfb) and 4 sentrys for tough monsters while im runnin around.
I recently got some really nice maurder gloves that opened up the option to use cinder in a 6pc maurder.
First time messing with cindercoat but really like how it affects trail of cinders (the roll). 6 disc instead of 8, negates having to use tumble since they avg to 6disc and you gain dps.
Skills that deal Physical damage should no longer benefit from items that increase elemental skill damage.
This removed the bug that allowed weapon-element to affect the damage-type of Physical Skills.
