-poison frost and fire attacks, versatile build and solo viable.
-no need for slow or traps since we have the frost arrow.
-Vault because iv'e seen it work in the beta and its an awesome mobility skill.
-Marked for death with conatgion for extra damage on most of the monsters.
-Preparation with backup plan, hands down.
-Archery and sharpshooter are obvious in my opinion.Custom engineering for marked for death boost.
I agree... for one, the skill lasts 30 seconds, why do you need it to last 60? If it's such a hard monster to kill, just cast it again. And secondly, you're using a passive that only affects one of your skills. You might as well get one that affects all of your skills, damage, etc.

When I grow up, I want to be a frill-necked lizard.
You are probably right but i dont like your attitude 1up-mush. Besides, its an awesome passive, this build revolves around the marked for death skill. Casting it on bosses and champions will be more efective with this passive.
Well you can ask your self, is it a bigger dps increse to cast it again and lose 1 GCD or to hav it. If you take steady aim for example i think it would be bigger damage.
I have no idea why would anyone take it. Go for it if you like it mate, but it's a dps loss.
It's a strange build mate, i can't say i like it.
What's strange about it? Its a that allows you to have 3 different main elements of attack. Crowd control comes from frost arrow, highest dps from cluster fire arrow and dot from poison. 2 mobility skills because they are useful and awesome. And preperation, pretty standard imo. If you check the updated build i changed marked for death to smoke screen ad the passive to tactical advantage. Its a solo viable build with tons of mobility which basically equals survivability.

When thinking about build think inferno at least and possibly some reasonably good items. Build is good but for Normal and Nightmare. I would think bigger after that. Get rid of generators, use passives which generates resources, think about some items which can do the same. Also you will have to control bigger crowds than Frost arrow can (probably). Also as a DH I would think mobility and dmg and not that much about control of anything. Tumble is a good choice for Hell/Inferno when you probably won't be able to stay in one place for longer than 6 sec and fight may last 4 tumbles. When you get good items I would change it to smth what can dmg mobs.
Summarizing I believe you should put some more info about the settings you are going to play in. Single/multi-mob(5- or 5+ mobs)/general slaying. Level of difficulty. Items and their affixes you expect to use with your build (what if you find knock-back xbows for example). Then we can talk. My builds for max lvl inferno with epic gear (which I probably won't find for 5 years but always may buy if I wanna break game for myself):
rocketer - http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#RdPciV!Yeh!cYYbbc
granadier - http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#RdPciV!Yce!ccYcbc
I can't stress enough how epic they gonna look in use

How is flavor builds thinking about inferno? That grenadier sounds nice, but looks pitiful.
Haha is this a joke? The 2 builds have the exact same terrible set of skills.

Care to elaborate? As I don't see anything not being covered there except resources gain which this build must get from items or it will be completely broken.
4 spenders and without a generator, not even a disc -> hatred skill?? That is not going to work, even with the best gear in the game.
You don't need 4 hatred spenders, they are all doing about the same thing.

Assuming you can get gear which can pull such high resources regen, you use MS for spreaded mobs, RF for single mob, CA for kindof AoE dmg where you have long line or square of mobs or if you want to hit some far away range mob (I like it better than Impale as it looks cool and drops grenades), strafe when you have a few mobs coming or running from different directions or want to put some distance while still firing at elite mobs and in the same time hurting them with Chain of Torment. Trail of Cinders as it do good dmg and looks cool. Sentry as it has Chain of Torment which is good when fighting elites and Bosses and you have to strafe a lot.
And you can't know yet if there is going to be or not gear which can pull such resources regen. They want they RAHM to work and for it to work there must be an incentive and such builds will probably be just that. So yes I believe that it is not build you can have up front and use but most likely a goal to get to. But when you do it's gonna be epic
Btw, I know the way how to make this build keep three of its hatred spending skills and be a superb resources generator. It's not too difficult, with proper choice of passives, crits and punishment. And I can't be either rocketer nor granadier. But it still gonna be fun until I find epic stuff to support my epic build which will do bigger bada booms than Wizard's builds
Yah I can, because you would need outrageous hatred regeneration on your gear in order to make that work.
Even if you are using multishot @ 1.5 APS(Attack per second) that is still 22.5 hatred spent per second. And that's your cheapest shot!!! Your passive hatred regen is only 4 hatred per second, 5 with the templar. That means you need to come up with another 18 hatred per second on gear just to spam your cheapest shot! When you start throwing in cluster arrows into the mix, then the average hatred per second spent skyrockets.
Lets say you use 1 cluster arrow for every 5 multishot/strafe
5xStrafe/Multishot = 75 hatred
1x Cluster arrow = 50 hatred
6 GCDs = 4 seconds
125 hatred / 4 seconds = 31.25 hatred / second
You obviously don't need enough hatred regen to remain neutral unless you are fighting a boss, but still you need enough to kill the mobs in front of you w/o running out, and enough to regen back to full for the next group.

Loves how the guy went "Man, your build sucks, you're thinking normal at best, MINE ARE FOR INFERNOS"
And then goes on to link builds so broken, i have a feeling they wouldnt even go through normal...
You may think generators are lame for only generating a small amount, but that's not their true strength: It lies in the fact that they are FREE to cast.
Basically, like Antirepublican posted, your hatred per second is CRAZY, so what are you going to do while it regenerating, you're going to be doing melee attacks. Might as well use the Bola Generator that deals 130% damage and also explode for when you're out of hatred (which is often).

+30 hatred for every critical shoot (items gain)
+5 discipline for every critical shoot (items gain)
125 hatred / 4 seconds - gain = -10 hatred / second
Ass you see I proof you wrong as much as you proof me right. As far you can't proof that some random gear affixes can't pull above regeneration you can't say a thing. Same goes for me.
wow...
i hate people "creating" their stupid noob builds before the game is even released, posting them and asking for opinions on this "amazing super awesome build"
the game isnt even out yet, take a chill pill and try again once you've reached lvl 60
then you can think about the "best possible build"
numbers, math, in theory...fine, but how about trying different builds in real combat in the actual game first!? we dont even know what it'll be like after fucking lvl 13 act 1 (4 acts and 4 fkin difficulties)
"noooooo, i like my build, i'll use it and play with it forever !!!! or at least for 5 years, them im finally 12 years old and can start using my brain"

So your argument is that you made a build based on absolutely NOTHING, thus I can't prove you wrong. If your argument is that its based on nothing, then it is obviously worth nothing!! However, even if we assume this is true, and we have no knowledge of D3 affixes, then guess what? Your builds still suck. They have no defense and the 4 spenders are greatly redundant! Hell one of the builds has cull the weak without even a slow!
However, in actuality we do have insight into the game, because we have the beta and logic to go on. So, I can without a shadow of a doubt tell you that you won't get enough hatred generation to support those 4 spenders. And even if by some miracle you could and generators are deemed completely useless (Obvious terribad design), then your build still sucks.
