Having returned recently to D3 after a significant break, I'm struggling with my DH.
I tried Nat for a bit, did a 41 GR, but I'm not a huge fan of the strafe gameplay, so I switched to UE. Slowballs isn't possible for me, since I only have a crappy non-ancient Krider, so I'm mostly playing a physical chakram/ms build.
Right now, I can't seem to get past 40 with that build, as I keep dying over and over w/o unity.
You are pretty much going to die a lot with that build. At higher tiers you need to fish for slow moving mobs and high density. But you should be able to do 40. Spread your balls all over the place and try to kite the monsters back through your field of lightning. Agro forward mobs toward you and vault to the other side of your lightning balls. When they get near you kite them back through it again. Keep adding balls.
Use a Molton Wildebeest Gizzard for extra toughness and health regen. I prefer the enchantress with a lightning weapon to proc stuns from wynward but if you can keep the Templar fighting good for you.
At forty I tend to think Frost Arrow with a multishot build is more consistent. FA slows everything and procs both Cull the Weak and Bane of the Trapped.
I'm coming from the perspective of a seasonal player so I can't be sure about the build itself... S3 is about to end so you will be able to get DML soon in non-season for a huge dps increase, but you may want to play S4 because the S4 bow is a massive upgrade for multishot builds.
You're missing ancients everywhere, they provide huge toughness gains from the extra AR/vit as well as some dps gains. You need RCR on shoulders/gloves/quiver so that you can multishot more. Get a chest with hatred regen as well. Your witching hour should probably be vit instead of AR. You should probably have a helm with CC/multi or CC/vit, definitely get rid of chakram dmg. Get that neck higher chd or wait for 2.3 and farm hellfires (VERY easy in 2.3). Craft reaper wraps for your bracers. Reroll the restraint to cc or chd, reroll the ias on focus to cc. Get AR on pants/boots. Try to get a better weapon (craft arcane barbs) with a gift on it.
In that case, ns players should stock up on tons of mats and lvl 70 YELLOW BOWS so that you can use the cube to upgrade the yellow bows into legendaries and try to get an ancient Yang's. And since you're going to wait then forget about having RCR anywhere else than the massive reduction from Yang's and cubed cindercoat.

Good point. I hadn't looked closely enough at the recipes, reforging an existing leg is going to be very costly, but upgrading a rare seems reasonable enough!
UE work very good with multishoot and some fire damage.. i can crit easy 5-700 mil that combo with my ancient etrayu 3200 damage and this is without dead many legacy so i asume if i get the new bow and that i can do alot more..

Here's my profile, note that the templar is running wyrdward/bul-kathos and ess of johan instead of what the armory says : http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Taliesyn-2517/hero/5083118
I guess I must be doing something wrong, and any advice would be appreciated

Ur not gonna like this, but Nats is the only build for Solo.. UE doesnt offer any CC at all, Stampede on the other hand is awesome
Around 40 for UE is ok, doubt u can go much higher then that

Thanks for all the advice. I'll wait till 2.3 to do some more crafting for UE, in the meantime I might as well get back to Nat
