Bah! You beat me to it. Yea, your actual count does not reflect those that have contributed to spam threads.
Besides, post count doesn't mean a thing. They don't say anything about you other than you've been here a while, and you don't really get anything for it. I've seen many with high post count be treated like idiots. I've seen many more just try to get a high post count because they believed it would make them more admired or better respected even though they were douchebags.
I myself have a high one (I don't even know my number) but don't treat me any different because of it. Respect me, I'll respect you, and that's pretty much how forums are supposed to work.
5500 posts is not a high post count. Not to gloat about post counts, which is a subject that's really worth gloating about, but on another forum, with an active members count of less than 10, I had 40,000+ posts in under 2 years because it was so goddamn active. The poster with the lowest post count had like, 6000 posts. It depends on the forum just as much, if not more, as the poster himself.
I think that the method Phrozen explained only counts the number of different threads you posted in, not the actual number of posts you did in all threads.
Damn you're right! I'd forgotten to display it as posts instead of threads when I searched.
I was wondering why I only had about 40 posts in the wiki forum
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
