Like the thread name suggests, an RPG forum would be nice.
If you're not sure what that exactly is, it's a forum where people can make little games or rpg games, possibly even just roleplay (with a diablo setting obviously).
We already do have an RPG forum, its just not very used because kind of hidden in a subsection of Guilds and Clubs. It doesn't have its own section because its not used very much. Kind of a paradox, huh?

Well, if it was more visible, it may have been used more.
I used to go on another fan based website called, xSpore. And the 2 years I wasted going on that website, I have found that the RPG Forum is used quite alot, with over 400 threads, and some are really quality RPG's. Of course it hasnt been used much ever since Spore actually came out, and it died after a month or two.
But yeah, the RPG Forum was more visible, I think more people would use it, I know I would.
Yeah, the RPG section used to be much more public (like the Fan Fiction section) is now but was hardly used after a while. It's essentially an archive at this point.
Fair enough.
I suggest though, how about putting it up in a more visible section for a week, like a trial?
And if it gets used even more, possibly keep it there, if not, then drop it back in a subsection.
Would have to get some new threads (Stories) made. The old ones sort of died. And people lost interest.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Yes anyone can make them up. But it seems it takes a master to be able to keep them going, was more my point.
People often show a lot of interest in the beginning, it goes well for a while then it just stops. Which sucks.

The problem is that RPing takes commitment. "Drifting by" doesn't cut it. The threads wont survive under such conditions. You need people who agree to show up and do it.
This forum is about entertainment- it's a website founded on the collective interest in a series of video games and, in some circumstances, other games of the same company. Furthermore, this website survives by the activity of its members in any area that is currently the trend, not based on single forums or threads. If anything, the purpose of this board is fulfilled in the Diablo discussion forums and threads- all else is excess.
Also, the General Art and/or Fan Art forums (whichever, if both, you were referring to) see much more use than the Roleplaying Forum now and since a long bit ago, before the decision was made, in collaboration, for it to be moved to a subforum for its inactivity. Currently, it is maintained for archival purposes (such as keeping a lot of users from having a drastically lowered post count).
Anyway, it was brought up in the moderation forum and discussed at length, and it was decided that the Roleplaying Subforum will remain where it is. The reasons of such are that staff and administration does not believe that there is currently enough broad interest to completely relocate the forum to top-level and that the current community, which has been here since before that forum was moved, has showed little willingness to enliven the Roleplaying Subforum and its purpose.
This does not, however, mean that we discourage you from its use. You are more than welcome to utilize it to its fullest extent, as well as anyone else that is interested in participating, but, for now, it will be staying where it is.
If you want to try and get it back on its feet, there are some suggestions that you could possibly employ:
1. Linking to threads of interest in the Roleplaying Subforum in your signature.
2. PMing users that might be interested and trying to get a committed group together and/or creating a social group to accomplish the same ends (if you don't know how to use social groups here, please PM me or another staff member).
3. Creating a thread to see who would be interested in participating to garner roleplayers (in the appropriate forum, of course, of which I would recommend the General Forum).
I hope this was a satisfactory, enlightening, and helpful solution and answer to your inquiry. All the best to you in your endeavor if you choose to take up its mantle.

I'll bring it up in the staff forums.
Awesome. Thanks.
Anyone can make them.
Also little games too.
I made a DnD type game before with pictures for the board and all.

Tell me about it.
Hmm, I guess you have a point there.
People need entertainment, and that's how they'll get it.
