And who cares when or how much you post? It's a forum on the Internet, big deal.
I hate it when people with over a certain amount of posts think they can boss people around and be all high and mighty just because they have more posts or have been here longer.
Would taking post counts off free any bandwidth? Can Umaro or someone answer that?
Yes, because God forbid other people learn about this website and want to contribute.
Face it, if these "noobs" weren't showing up, many of you would be complaining that the forums are stagnant (which they have been up until recently). Would you rather have an active community, or none at all?
Seconded. I always enjoy new members.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
I would love it if this forum got bigger, since it will get a lot more interesting threads. I really didn't realize that there were so many new members. I mean, I saw about 7 or 8 in one day about a week and a half ago, but 1000 in one weekend!!?!?!? That is really a lot.
I haven't noticed any bogging down of the site at all, but I wasn't on here the entire weekend. I was too busy partying pretty much every waking moment starting Thurday night to Sunday morning.
God I love California.:D
Edit: You know, I think that really really slow time on the forum over the last several months was obviously just the lull before the storm. It is only going to get bigger from here.
I sure hope that Umaro has some plan to get this forum more bandwidth to keep it from crashing. I mean I can see the site's membership rate get 5-15 times its current size before June 29th.
I first learned of this community a few years ago during a random Google search. No other website I visited had linked to it, and none of my gaming friends ever knew about it, either. I'd imagine that a lot of people had the same experience as me.
Now sites are linking to it and word is getting out that a community for Diablo III does exist. Naturally, this is going to cause in influx of users because more people know this website is available.
Other than the site slowing down over the weekend, I haven't seen any problems. It happens.

Yep. I had been on many forums before i joined D3.com and believe me, I've never even had heard/read of it before.
I feel old again.

That is so true. Come all you noobs, join our community!
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
But please make intro threads and reply in them twice.

Well, I like to call those special exceptions, though that may or may not include those people you listed.
