I must be the only one who thinks that the new skill interface is an improvement over the old one. Not that I have tried it myself, other than on calculators. I also thought the runes would look out of place on the backdrop, but imo they look rather well placed. The rune system itself can be discussed, but at this point im more interested in just getting the game to my computer so I can start enjoying the hack n slashy goodness for myself
I hope they do something more with the in game chat. When I was playing with friends the other day we'd try to talk to each other but
1.) The chat window gets spammed by quest npc and your own character randomly saying things like, "holy crap I'm awesome"
2.) It's hard to notice if it's your party talking or if it's just more spam from the game. They really need 2 tabs or to just remove all of the npc chatter that adds nothing to the game. Without voice chat, the text chat really needs to be usable.
I'm fine with that. The game itself is a blast and addicting as ever. The pacing is excellent. It's butter smooth. Most of the skills are very satisfying and well balanced. (Except Plague of Toads, no idea what to do with that.)
I fully expect some UI changes, not sure how, but Blizzard is always updating those kind of things. The WoW UI has gone through many changes over the years. So if that is really bothering you, it's safe to relax a bit.
Hopefully that's not "proof" that the game is ready for release as is since it needs so much more work before launching. I see it more as proof that they aren't fixing chat channels, which is bad enough, but I can understand. I mean, the chat is good enough for consoles, so it must be good enough for the PC users...
