Interesting, thanks! As a suggestion, you could turn it into a table for better readability (and abbreviate the always repeating first part for readability).
The table code is pretty simple:
Also just for reference, here's the GR tier increase - so the biggest buff (LoN) is equivalent of 13 tiers, roughly. Monster HP increases by 17% per tier.
I'm planning DH Shadow Impale because the buff & the bonus is a solid 15 GR levels over season 15. Not to mention cubing a good main hand weapon is the easiest one in the game. (Getting a good offhand is crazy hard though, but less important).
I plan to use UE for T13 farming since impale is not so awesome for trash.
I've never played a LoN build, but that buff will outlast the season. If it turns out there's a massive difference between sets and LoNs I'll switch midseason. How excited to have some unknowns in this game again
Also, I'm mostly solo, I only party when I need a change of pace.
Yeah they're wrong. In that case it's either "0.5 times stronger" as in "+50%" or the multiplier is 1.5.
50,000% being 1.5 times stronger would be a multiplier of 2.5 which would be 125,000.
I know we all know what the OP means but it's a big distinction.

You need to account for the base damage before the set bonus increases it to get an accurate depiction of things. For instance, LoN used to give 100% increase per ancient but now gives 750% increase to your base 100% damage. If you have 13 ancients then it is 100%+(750%*13) = 9850% vs the old 100%+(100%*13) = 1400% which translates to an overall damage change of 9850%/1400% ~= 7.04 times damage. If you only have one ancient equipped then it is a much smaller change because 100%+(1*750%) = 850% vs the old 100%+(1*100%) = 200% is only 850%/200% = 4.25 times damage but any reasonable number of ancients (10+) gets close to the 7x multiplier vs the old bonus.
For most bonus increases there is little difference since they are already huge numbers but it can make a significant difference for smaller bonuses.
