Buy them from Kadala on the characters that are missing set pieces.
Use the Cube to turn duplicate set pieces into the missing pieces.
You say that like they actually ban bots. When was the last time they did that? 5 seasons ago? 10? 15?
I can well believe they're wanting to make D4 essentially a reimagined D2 and give us all the old classes - but I'm not going to believe a word of anything unless we get it officially - and probably not even then given how early in development the game is.
I really feel like they only announced D4 so early because of the awful failure they had last year and they really needed to drum up support.
They have mine - but they are going to have to do a bit better. The talent trees look real empty - the inventory looks tiny - I'm really not sure about the open world and people dropping in and out. But I'll wait and see.
Remember that ancients give 3 forgotten souls and are about 10% drop. So for every 100 legendaries - 90 will give 1 and 10 will give 30 - so you'll get 120 forgotten souls. So you've gotten less than you think.
But yes you're probably unlucky. I got 5 primals before I'd hit 750 paragon.
RNG is RNG. You'll get it when you get it - it just may take some time. I got mine off a Collector Goblin.
Yeah it all reeks of another corporate misconception fiasco. They talk about how there's a waning interest, yet then they decide to shut down the one place that still has dedicated fan traffic? This is nearly as bad as their convention pitch for Immortal, it shows they have zero clue about what kind of following their own franchise has and that they don't even give enough of a damn about the IP to invest in it properly.
If you have a place where fans are pushing out new conversations and class builds for a game that is now SEVEN YEARS OLD, that in and of itself proves there is still viability for it. I hate seeing a place like this close up just because a bunch of executives speed skimmed a financial report and then threw the word down the chain so haphazardly that everyone suddenly thinks the Diablo fanbase is a dying horse.
I think you may be misunderstanding something. DiabloFans is run by Curse - not Blizzard.
It's going to suck getting Diablo news from elsewhere. Can't say I understand all this sentimentality though...?
I'm sorry to be rude but you're taking officially released images and putting a little facade on top and putting it up as your own artwork? What gives?
Besides actually playing the alt by leeching in public or friend's games these are really the only alternatives:
1. Farm on your main and switch to the alt when you spend all your Blood Shards.
2. Farm Death's Breath's on your main and upgrade rares in the Cube on your alt to get the desired items.
This would be terrible. It would make playing in meta 4-people groups mandatory. Anyone playing solo will have much less paragon and gem levels per time played than those who group up and so for the same gear level and GR completed they'll have much more time played. They would never be able to compete.
Pretty piss-poor celebration for 20 years of the gold standard game for this genre.
Typhoon's Veil: Hydra - Hydra - Twiddle Thumbs? Is that the playstyle they're going for? They're not doing what they did with Marauder's and made your own damage increase by number of Sentries? The Typhoon's Veil damage comes from the Hydra(s) and absolutely nothing else?
Going to sound like such a pessimist here but this really translates - for me anyway - to this:
"We have no idea what we're doing so we're going to throw stuff at the wall until it sticks."
Happy with the QoL improvements and LoN is getting buffed.
Curious if the buffs will make DMO Wizard any good again because I miss playing that class but it's probably the only Wizard set I can tolerate. If nothing else I'll be able to play a LoN Wizard and make whatever build I want and still at least do a GR70-90 with it.
If by 'damage control' you mean inflict more? Sure. I can well believe it.
I'd really rather not have to do CR's at all, but the material benefit and short time of the CR makes them too good to pass up though.
Still hate them. They're always classes / builds I really dislike playing, or have no idea how to play.
