at 1:39 on this video you see there will be a option for video options, sound options, keyboard options, and gameplay options, and ofc save and quit and return to game
Cool find. I'd like to see the grayed out parts, though. Video and sound options, make sure there's a Subtitles on/off (can't play any game without subs, I like to read >.>)
In old Blizzard games gameplay options allows you to set things like "Mouse scroll" speed, keyboard scroll speed, certain other things in WC3 specifically like "game speed" and "always show health bars", that sort of thing.

It requires one more click if you are only going to visit one tab. (except if the first tab is the one you are looking for, then it is no more clicks)
It requires no more clicks if you are going to visit two tabs.
And for each time you switch tab you save one click.
So the need for clicking is never more than one additional click with this system, and it is cleaner.
One more click is one more click.
That click can be avoided and the menu can still look clean.

It's good for testing different gear specs. It's also nice to shoot a AoE and see a spring of numbers. Or crit and see that 12 digits. etc..
Well in D2 it shows how much damage you do, but not on the monsters as you do it.

Cleaner but not necessarily efficient. Requiring multilple clicks to go through menu is pointless if you can show them all in the first menu.
Better colorization and placement can put the focus on the important options, while still making everything available right away.
This really is not very important at all, but I'm just saying.
hahahahaha that was really funny

That was my point.
