Now that the icons of items and weapons are much smaller then compared to D2, I was wondering how could they improve upon this. I swear that in some update from the past it was mentioned that they wanted to improve this in particular, to put more of an emphasis on the design so that it will stand out.. or they could simply try and make it larger than it currently is.
I don't know, judging by what they have right now they look and feel insignificant. I'm fine with the inventory and equip slots but damn are the icons and design are small when you hover over them. It wouldn't hurt to make them bigger would it? It's not like it'll distract you since no one checks their inventory and fights at the same time. Maybe they can add some animation to it as well, like if it's enchanted by fire, ice, etc. Or how about having a little button for a mini biography of the weapon, for legendary items of course.
Blizzard have said themselves that alot of the icons for weapons and skills etc, and the GUI interface itself, will be subject too many changes throughout the development of the game
I got the impression that there was a few things, GUI wise, that they just bunged in... So they could show everyone the demo at the time without there being big blank holes
I want he Tetris Inventory to be kept but make certain items stackable.
Swords, Axes, Polearms, Bows, Crossbows, etc. should be anti-stack.
Stuff like potions, scrolls (of same type), keys (i know they already were), etc. should be stackable.
Some other things were stackable... certain potions, but then again certain things weren't.
Scrolls had tomes which was ok, but I heard somewhere they were doing away with tomes.
The bag idea is neat.

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.
Stacking items would be cool but I dont think id like to be able to stack weapon types together, just because you could carry way to much at that point and never need to go back to town or your stash to offload things, plus its a bit more realistic for a character to not be able to carry 10 different swords or 7 axes/bows ect.. just my opinion ^^

I do
I think they should have small pictures, but when you click on them, or see its information, it should show a bigger or more detailed version of it
