No rushing, exploring every stage, every side stages including caves, tombs, caverns, the black tower, those red portal fiery places in act 5 and nilhathak's temple, And doing all that 3 times, Diablo II is pretty big. Your what level 90 by the end of it, even soloing. 40 30 20. That is generally how I find it working out for me. gained in Normal, 30 in Nightmare and 20 levels in Hell.
We don't know if D3 will have 3 difficulties like D2, but D2's full length encompasses all 3 difficulties, that is technically 15 acts. That is a pretty big game, so long as you are not getting rushed through it.
Anyone here played Baldur's Gate II? And I mean all the way to the end. That game is seriously long.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I found Diablo1 better than Diablo2 You cant rush threw it are youd get slaughtered. a level 1 going down to lvl2=certin death. I hope it will be that way in Diablo3 if you skip stuff no matter how many people are there you get slaughtered.Like make the monsters target the lowest level in the group so if you are tryin to get rushed they target you and you get no where.

If you want to arrange it

3 difficulties don't count, if you ask me. They are just an easy way to extend the game but otherwise they are pretty worthless.
I don't so much want it longer as more varied and detailed... less repetative.
I don't know. The Uber's are only available in Hell Difficultly. But then again they are optional. Like many areas in Diablo 2. Such as those I mentioned above.
It would take forever to reach the maximum level in D2 is you do not count the other two difficulties. But it might just be me, but I feel they do count. If they didn't why not just make the maximum level something that is attainable in Normal, say 50. 50 was the maximum level in Diablo 1 I believe.

/agreed. I'd rather have a game where the monster stats change a little more drastically so we start against monsters feeling like it's easy mode and wrap the game up feeling like it's hell. Ya feel me?
